Marshall Pet 2-in-1 Ferret Bed,black

My ferret has had this bed for about 6 months now. At first it was perfect. I don't have it hanging from the top of the cage but sitting on one of the levels of the cage and use one of the straps to attach it to the side so he doesn't throw it off. The inside padding is pointless because he always throws it out so I don't even use it. The bottom doesn't have much padding once that is taken out, so its not the most comfy bed. He likes to dig in it and it is slowly starting to rip apart because of it. I would have thought that it would maybe be made out of sturdier fabric so that wouldn't happen. I put a piece of fleece in the bed so he has some extra padding and he usually sleeps under it like a blanket. He likes it, but not as much as his hammock. Also, I wash his bedding weekly and it so far has held up okay in the washing machine, but it takes a long time to dry because the foam in the bottom acts as a sponge.So I give it 3/5 because it is better than nothing and he still likes it.

My 2 ferrets seem to like it.. its smaller then I thought it would be but they cram in there. Like others have said they got in and immediately dug out the bottom pad. haha. Even at its shortest it hangs almost to the bottom of the cage. So it isnt ideal if you have the living world "bunny" cage vs a 2/3 story cage with room to hang down. I mean it works I just know they like being up higher to see everything. Though i suppose i could just run it through a few bars on top and make it shorter.. doh! haha..It appears that it will hold up rather well as long as you dont have a strap chewer. Looks just like the picture.. green and dark green stripes.

My fur babies love this bed. They all but abandoned their other hammock for this one. I have three ferrets and all of them seem to "fit" in it. I say this wit quotations because they all don't really fit but they seem to make it work which is fine with me as long as they like it. I attached a pict of them snoozing away. The little pad thing that came with it they threw out and tried to eat it day one so I just left it out, that part seems like it could become a choking hazard with the cotton (my fuzzies seem to love trying to eat cotton). I will definitely be buying another one in the future when they have worn-out this one.

My two ferrets love this bed. The larger one is almost 4 lbs and he fits comfortably but he takes up the whole bed. My smaller one is just over 2 lbs and she has room to spare.The fabric is pretty nice and it has a soft liner on the bottom. The liner isn’t attached which is nice for washing but the ferrets pull it out and drag it around the cage. Thats my only criticism and it’s not really that much of a problem.

My ferrets absolutely love this style of a hammock. My only real complaints are: that the soft fabric piece that goes inside comes out way too easy, and shouldve been sewn in. Also, that when you wash it, even by hand OR on delicates, the cardboard or whatever is in the bottom shifts massively and you cannot get it back to how its suppose to be because it bends. It is completely ruined. I have had to sew the piece of fabric in and add more stuffing into it so that my ferries are comfortable in it.

I had this exact bed which finally died from use and washing (we're talking like a year's worth). I ended up picking up a similar item by another brand which broke within 24 hours (straps detached from bed). So... back to this one! I've found this to be sturdy and my fuzzy spends quite enough time in it so I'm pretty sure his seal of approval can be added here! I do agree that the insert never lasts as long as the bed. My ferret used to crawl under it but now he just tosses it around his cage.

This is the bed that hangs in his cage, and he adores it. He dug a lot at his previous beds, and they would fall apart within months. I've had this quite a long time now though and there are no signs of wear even though I hear him digging in it all the time.It's soft, comfy, and has very sturdy hangers. Definitely recommended. Maybe big enough for two smaller ferrets, but mine takes up probably 3/4 of it with his fat winter butt.

Bought this for my two adults rats to sleep. They love the softness of the bed, and sleep in it all the time. Very convenient that it can hang from the top of the cage.
