I have recently dived into Arabic scents, in particular oud scents after the recommendation of a friend.Shaghaf Oud Aswad by Swiss Arabian was a perfect blind buy. The smell at first to me smells synthetic, herbal almost medicinal but the dry down is where the magic happens.It is difficult explain the frag and I would say that it is slightly floral, slightly sweet with a earthy, woody smell of patchouli, sandalwood and oud, almost like the smell of a temple.The notes on Swiss Arabian are top notes of saffron, thyme and rose with middle notes of coriander, cumin, rose, Jasmin, patchouli, oud and base notes of musk, sandalwood, leather, oud, amber and vanilla.It's described as a unisex scent and defiantly think this would work on a man as well as it does on myself, as a women.I am so pleased with this purchase and am totally in love with the scent and cannot stop wearing it. The longevity is 10 hours plus and it is a powerful scent, with a few sprays being more than enough for me.Highly recommend this, great value for money. Beautiful bottle and box. Well worth the price point.

Love this, scent lasts well, I like how it lingers on my shirts. It's quite strong, so I give the smallest squirt the bottle will allow.

This last for over 12 hours however the only negative I have got is for how strong it smells.

Bought it again, first time from Saudia now when I found out Amazon does it so I ordered againNot very strong, perfect for my son and husband.

So, I know a lot of reviews had good things to say about this product. However, I’ve heard around that the formula for this perfume has been changed which is probably why I’m not that keen on it.Also, the bottle of mine isn’t the same as in the picture which annoyed me a bit because I’m hoping that this is the real scent, and they’ve just changed the bottle? I can’t return it, as the package was sealed and I couldn’t see the bottle until opening but anyways. -When I was looking at reviews, they all said the scent was rosey and oudy similar to their regular shagaf oud (gold bottle) however I’m not picking up on that at all. It smells quite masculine now, even though reviews said it’s quite feminine. A lot of people compared the shagaf fragrances to our bouquet - which I do own - and smelling them next to each other doesn’t really justify the claims. Shagaf oud aswad just smells a bit harsher than oud bouquet.As it dries down, I’d say it gets more powdery and sweet but I guess it’s all down to individual tastes and preferences.Saying all this, I’ll still probably wear this as it does have an oud smell to it and lasts well.I’d say it’s got good longevity as I sprayed it on myself and can still smell it about 4 hours later. Some people exaggerate with its longevity, but I guess that depends on how much you’re using. Just a tip though, spray on your clothes to prevent nose-blindness.For the price you’re paying, I’d say spend a bit more and buy a higher end perfume.

love it, almost identical to OudBouquet when it dries down but more synthetic. I find this one more masculine on my skin than the one from Maison Lancôme so in this case I love it for men.The performance it’s a 10.I bought it the first time in Dubai mall and this is the 2nd bottle . I believe this version has been reformulated .Overall a must buy amazing quality price

I am an Oud fan since my travels to the Middle East. This is a nice subtle version that, in my mind, could be worn by a male or a female. The opening notes are somewhat harsh, but within 10 minutes it slips into a nice warm scent. Longevity is 8-10 hours for me. I like the product. The price point for Oud is excellent.

Très bon produit, un peu fort au début mais s'adoucit avec le temps. C'est un parfum qui reste plus de 24h sur les vêtements et malgré un petit soucis de livraison le vendeur est très réactif
