8pc. Decorative Low-Profile Brass-plated Box Corners w/mounting screws

Easier to install than I thought it would be with all of those little screws. Used these to give a nightstand a campaign chest feel; perfect!

After checking a chess board  Professional Tournament Chess Board, No. 6  in my baggage, I noticed that the corners were damaged. I wrapped the board in bubble wrap and had it in a padded case, but airlines are rough on luggage. The board is very nice, and probably the best one you can get for the price, but it is made of particleboard with a very thin veneer surface for the chess squares. I used these brass corners to both hide the broken veneer on the corners and protect the board from further damage. I drilled out holes (1/16th) to mount the brass corners and they look great. They also work great - no more damage. Now my inexpensive, damaged board gets all kinds of compliments.

These worked perfectly for me. I built a small campaign style piece and these were perfect for me.
