Great for EV charging circuit
The old Federal Pacific breakers are known to fail although the Stab-lok box is solid so I am hoping the newly manufactured breakers with UL 489 rating will trip the circuit in an event of a electrical short. It's an inexpensive step to take b4 replacing the box with a modern main panel and breakers.I need to install a 220VAC multi-phase circuit for EV charging. Bought a slightly used breaker to run power to a NEMA 14-30 plug and limit the charging circuit to 30A. Some lucky tenants will be able to charge their Tesla at the beach house.

Fit Perfectly
I was very pleased with this equivilient snap-lok breaker to replace for the Federal Pacific. New was around $60 and I saw the used option. I was relunctant but nope, I am glad I chose the used. the Price was half the amount. It was a perfect fit but do measure the width of bad breaker And match it up exactly. I live in the Anarctica of NYS and I had no hot water, plus old breaker was not the correct amps. I was relieved to have the right size breaker in. Breaker failed due to a slight leak around element and water hitting the wiring on thermostat. Plus the hot water tank used to be a 3500 watt and when I installed the new 5500 watt elements type water heater, I was misinformed regarding right size breaker. According to my wirring and element wattage I needed the 30 amp 120\240 instead of the 25 amps. I dried everything up and tightened up the two elements and replaced the breaker. No more flipping breaker and all is well.

Good source for breakers
I added a 30 Amp circuit to a breaker panel at a rental so my tenants could charge their new EV. Breaker arrived on time and works perfectly.

Loose, floppy fit
Does not "lok" as well as origional FP breakers. Junk, probably from china.

Fortune saving replacement for obsolete Stab Lok breaker
When our dryer breaker on our stab lok panel gave out, we found out that the stab lok ones are no longer being made. We were faced with an estimate of over $1500 to replace our entire panel just for this one lousy breaker. Then after a ton of googling we found out that these Federal Pacific breakers were designed to replace the stab lok ones!It was a very tight fit but it fit! The casing itself is just a little bit wider than the old one so we had to knock out the covering for the empty breaker slot above it so the cover could go back on but then it fit fine.Overall we are very happy with this breaker so far! It does what it says it does!

Effective quality
Fits just like it should. Nice that it is slim as it extends the life of the breaker panel.

Faulty, used breaker sold as "new"
Breaker very used on arrival - sticker had printing almost worn off. When used in a panel snapin was weak and only one pole worked, could not get 240V out of it. -an electrician who orders breakers online regularly and has not had any issues until now
