HanesMen's Beefy Long Sleeve Shirt, 1 or 2 Pack

These replaced my long sleeve night tee I wear to bed. They fit great, warm and the material is exactly what I needed, nice and heavy, more so than the normal tees. I now wear one during the day and the other at night. Looks great and good enough to wear anywhere. But it, won’t be sorry.

These are nice shirts, they're well made. Heavy enough for winter wear. I ordered a size up from what I normally wear to compensate for shrinkage and washed then as soon as I got them. They fit perfect. If you don't like itchy tags you'll have to cut them off, but no biggie. I highly recommend, especially for the price.

I saw these Beefy-T's mentioned, of all places, in a Consumer Reports review of sun screens. The report mentioned specialized clothing that comes impregnated with substances that inhibit UVA and UVB rays from reaching the skin and said while they seem effective that these Hanes T's also had impressive results though not designed for that purpose. Living in the sun-intense Southern U.S., that's something that concerns me and I tend to wear long sleeve shirts by preference anyway. I wanted something that could be worn casually with jeans without looking cheap and that would be durable without being too heavy in the heat. My first reaction, on opening the package was that they seemed less "beefy" then I'd expected and only modestly thicker than conventional material. My second concern is that while they fit well, though slightly less generous then I expected, that after several washings they might actually be a bit snug. Well, after several washings, shrinkage hasn't seemed a factor, though I do wash clothes in cold water and dry them at medium heat. Fit and finish are both good. For comparison sake, I ordered a similar T from LL Bean, a company with a reputation for rugged and durable clothing. That T was slightly heavier, slightly more generous in it's cut, and the stitching and finish were superior. But the cost was well over twice as much, making me realize what a great value these Hanes are especially at what seems to be their on sale price price for a two pack. Can I recommend them? I'll have to see how they hold up after repeated use and washings, but so far I think they make a great value for the price and can highly recommend them for value, comfort, quality and according to Consumer Reports, even great protection from the sun's damaging rays!

Heavy weight of this product was good. Fit good. Comfortable to wear.

The material is hearty and soft. I bought them to take to a tie-dye party--but left one, in its pristine white condition, in my closet. I wore it to a beach party the other day, pairing it with shorts and flip-flops, and it was nice to have the sleeves after the sun went down. I think that it will work well under a jacket or unconstructed sports coat with jeans, as the weather turns cooler. Very happy with my purchase and will probably order more. The ones that were dyed took the colors well and they are a hit with folks who come see our band play. Thanks for reading.

Good Value, Good Fit.

If you like a more fitted look (like me) this shirt is not for you; the sleeves are very baggy (almost like a pirate shirt), especially at the armpit, then becomes gradually slightly better (a bit more fitted) to the wrist. Also I was expecting a slightly heavier weight to this shirt; trust me the thickness won't impress you.The 2 redeeming qualities: It's 100% cotton; and the shirt fits good on the 'chest to waist' partImo, these shirts are worth $5 to $6 max, due to the weird sleeves.

La camisa es de buena calidad y con relación al precio es muy bueno, sólo que el corte es ajustado, si te gusta más holgado (como la imagen del modelo) deberías pedir una talla más de la acostumbrada sólo que tienes que considerar que las mangas serían más largas.

Ook had Large(L) besteld, maar het voelde als Extra Large (XL-XXL). Met de stof is niets mis mee; lekker dik. Helaas moeten terugsturen.
