Yamamoto Senko Kit

Tried these out at some spots where I haven't had much luck in the past. Got a great reaction fishing them weightless texas rigged. Fish have been hitting the darker colors like crazy. Not incredibly durable, but I'm guessing that you might lose some of the action if you made them differently. These are as good as advertised. The kit is great because it has allowed me to figure out what colors work and where so that I can buy individual packages in the future.

Yamamoto soft lures are the best around and this kit gives you a taste of many flavors. I believe you get four different type of 7" lures and two more 5" lures. Most of the different color varietie work well in the fresh waters in the Hudson Valley NY, about 1 hour north of NYC.These lures really turn any moderately skilled fisherman into a Pro. Anecdotal as it may be, it feels as tho on even the "okay" days on the water, each Yamamoto I cast will eventually catch me a decent fish.I prefer the Baby Bass color/style, usually 7" to try and catch the bigger fish.The one and only downside, is overall durability of the lure. No one expects a plastic/soft lure to last long, however with Yamamoto usually 1 catch will finish the lure. They don't like re-hooking either, it's one and done for the most part. It's a trade off, they perform great but don't last long. Sort of like most sports carsBut in the end, it's a great lure that has done extremely well by me since a fellow fisherman told me about them on the shores of my favorite lake. Hands down the best soft lure on the market.

These worms are lethal. Yes they're expensive but worth it. Texas rig, whacky rig...get a lot of bass on these. I usually get the bites as soon as the worm hits the water and starts to descend with it's wiggle. They are a bit brittle but they WORK!

I knew soft plastics usually dont last long, but it is a really nice assortment of them in a nice plastic box. My only complaint is that they are too soft, and you can rarely re-use them. When I use these up, I will just restock the container with Z-man soft plastics, which last a long time !

The Senko worm is probably the best bass bait in the market. What they lack in durability they make up for in effectiveness. On the inside of the case there are details on how to rig this item. I feel the best way to hook these worms are weightless Texas rig. This bait should be fished on a higher gear ratio reel, to reel in the slack faster. The best technique is to just throw the senko out there and twitch it a couple times and let it sink.I have caught my personal best on these lures weighing in at 7 pounds 2 ounces. Will be purchasing more in the future, 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend.

THE best soft bait around, and a must have for any tackle box. This starter kit has 4" and 5" baits of popular colors, and these are the best size baits for bass. Fish Go Crazy for the senko because it is naturally very active in the water, creating vibrations and movement that bass can't resist. First time out with these, on a lake where it's very hard to catch any fish, I had a lot of success with these baits (when nothing else was working). You can fish them wacky style for pitching, and texas style for weedless situations, and use a sharp 3/0 size hook. You can't fish these slow enough, and the less you do the better. Simply raise the tip of the rod slowly, then let the bait fall to the bottom... rinse and repeat. You WILL catch fish.
