Daltech ForceDistressed Steel Core American Bison Leather Gun Belt - 14/15 oz - CCW - Brown - 1.5 inch Wide - 1030DW-45

This is a good strong belt, the leather is thick and the internal metal band helps prevent it from sagging. However, after approximately one week of wear, the leather loop on the buckle popped as I was taking it off. There appears to be a single brass staple and some glue holding it in place (see pictures), I'm not certain I'm comfortable with that design, however, I just submitted an RMA for a replacement belt, I'll update this review if it breaks again.Also, from a sizing perspective, I wear a US 38" waist pant with a 40" length belt. I initially ordered a size up in the gun belt (42") which is too short with a 4" sidearm sized IWB holster (see picture), the 42" belt came in at the 2nd to last hole with holster IWB.After speaking with customer service I replaced the 42" belt with a 46", this belt was too long and landed in the 3rd hole, leaving an excessively long tail, (see pictures). I returned that belt and ordered a 44" belt which works perfectly with the aforementioned duty size holster IWB and the pin lends roughly in the middle of the holes on the belt (no picture on this one).My current 4-star review is due to the easily broken leather loop, otherwise, it would be a 5 star.

I love this belt. I have been carrying for years, both open and concealed. Its never been a problem finding a good holster but finding a good belt has always been a problem. It didn't seem to matter if they were cheep Wal Mart belts or exspensive "gun belts" from the gun store they all ended up the same way. Cracking, bending, twisting and stretching out. Some would last a few months some might last a year. None of them were very good even the expensive ones didn't last very long. One belt I had made by a local leather guy, paid $200 bucks for a belt that was guaranteed for life, it lasted almost a year and half and when I went to take it back he was gone, out of business. I don't know how long this belt will last but it is a nice very well made belt. It is made from nice leather and is the thickest belt I have ever owned. I have carried OWB and IWB holsters both beltloop holsters and paddle holster. And this belt carries them very well. The buckle is heavy buckle that works great. There is nothing I don't like about this belt.

Received the belt I ordered 1 size larger for inside waste band carry.The fit is great and the thickness is great.Took a few days to break it in . It holds my firearm up where it is supposed to be even though I am a heavy person.The belt is actually fairly comfortable for being steel reinforced.The bad reviews are apparently people that are clueless of how things are supposed to work.I will buy this again when neededEditI will buy this belt againOnce I got it broken in it fits and is very comfortable and secures my EDC very well.great belt

So i have owned this belt for almost 2 years now and wear it almost daily. I can say with 100% confidence this is the best belt i have ever owned. It is comfortable enuff to wear as a regular belt and rigid enuff to hold up to my judge. The core was stiff for about 2 months but once it broke in it became as flexiable as the leather. The holes have such little strech you can barely tell its worn. The best part is the distressed leather just looks better and better by the day.

I don't write reviews for the hell of it, but I've had this belt for a year and eight months. I have literally wore this belt every one of those days but maybe 5 or 6. I've had no issues with it at all; I use it whether I carry or not. It does nothing spectacular, after all it's just a belt; but I guarantee you won't find a better belt for the money. You'll have to break it in, like any other quality leather belt or holster but it's worth it. The stitching is still in great shape. I also like the fact that you can switch buckles if you want. The metal insert actually makes a difference as far as weight distribution.PS: I'm not a Fudd

Second one of these I’ve bought. Best belt I’ve ever had. Can’t go wrong with one of these. Understand that this belt is very thick. Some belt loops may be too small.

I went through 5 different belts before finding this one. All of the others were cheap, flimsy and thin compared to this belt. I am 6'5" and 350lbs so I have destroyed a few belts over the years. I have had this belt for about a year now and wear it every day and it shows no sign of wear and has maintained it's shape perfectly. The first 3-4 times I wore it it felt a little too stiff but after that short break in period it's felt perfect.
