A Woman's Review
The Forsaken Muse, a Woman's Journey from Sorrow to Hope: A book of poetry with images about a woman's quest for beauty, love and her own destinyThis book delivered on its promise, and MORE!!!I got the book, started reading it and did not stop until I finished it!The poems take you to another place using simple language yet powerful. It is full of philosophical insights which can help me in life. I think the author almost knew my life....it is a woman's life she told about, I can relate to every word it it.The author's style is varied...a woman in love, a woman who is passionate about other women, men, mankind, children, the moon, the flowers, God, the world. The photography is five-star...makes it even more powerful together with poems.Highly, highly recommended, and it is a book worth keeping for a long time.

Quoted from the poet NANUSHKA (commendation on the back of the book)
From the Back CoverROWENA ISIDRO has that rare gift - a poet's soul. I could identify with much of her beautiful poetic prose & poetry. The words come straight from her heart and will appeal to all ages and genders. I wish I had written some of them myself!" -NAN WITCOMB (The Australian poet NANUSHKA, author of the popular series of poetry books called "The Thoughts of Nanushka").

A great book that touches the emotion
It is rare to find poetry work embelished with outstanding images, set in a handy practical sized book that can go anywhere. This book is one those classics that stand out and sets the leading edge to the new way of appreciating poetry in modern times. I am looking forward to the sequel of this gem. Excellent presentation.
