I ordered Pink Nudes and it’s a bit darker in person compared to the colors advertised. I was hoping them to be the same color as the pictures since I needed the nude colors for painting character skins but I guess I can make due with these. The pictures I took are /slightly/ darker than what they actually look like in real life, might be the lighting. I added a matte finish on the bottom to see if the colors look different and they do look a shade lighter, although it’s still not as light as the advertised picture. The opacity is different from each other, the darker colors took less coats for the bottom of the fake nail to not show through (2-3 coats) and the lighter colors took around 3-4 coats.

I have been using Gellen for over a year now and I have learned all the secrets to make this product worth it. First off, I’ve bought several packs and they usually have a color or two in the pack that wasn’t in the picture. So expect that. Also, the gellen in the white bottles is better than the gellen in the black bottle. So avoid buying the black bottle ones. It’s runnier and stickier for whatever reason. Very hard to remove.The key to making this product great is knowing the process and practice. I used to be terrible at painting my nails and this process definitely takes PRACTICE. First, make sure to file the surface of your nail before applying the base coat. Second, leave each coat (base, color, and top) under the lamp for 90-120 seconds each depending on your lamp power. Third, you must keep your nails very straight so the gel doesn’t slide down or run down your nails. I’ve found doing my thumb separately helps. Lastly, I’ve found avoiding washing your hands/water in general for a few hours after you first apply makes it last even longer. I usually do my nails right before bed so this is easy for me.I reapply this every 10 days to 2 weeks. My nails grow fast. I have always had trouble with my brittle nails breaking and this product keeps them from breaking and staying long and pretty. It is also more convenient and cheaper to be able to do this in your home instead of going to get your nails done. While the colors listed could be more truthful, I am a devout user of this product and I will be for many years to come.

Great gel polish! Love the soft colors, (baby pinks)When I put the first layer , it was all streaky and I was like Uh oh.. not good!Then when I cured it, and did the second layer it was smooth ( see pic)I used the base and top coat from Gellen too, and just a cheap UV light I got off of Amazon for like $15Shockingly it all worked so wellI even did one of those glitters on one finger like the salons so now It feels less of a home manicureTWO THUMBS UP!oh and its not sticky at all after curingI will update my review after I see how long it lasts and if it peels

These gel nail polishes are beautiful, high-quality, and apply effortlessly! Not too thick, not too thin, it’s really easy to apply thin layers between curing.Long story short - if you’re looking for high-quality gel polishes, these are the ones you want; I even wore one of the colors on my wedding day!(In the photo I’m wearing G-010; in the swatch photo, the polishes in this kit are only the ones that start with “G”)*ALSO* These are GEL nail polishes, for gel manicures, meaning you need a nail lamp to cure them. I’ve seen multiple negative reviews for gel polishes out there saying how horrible the product is and they don’t dry, but that’s not how they’re supposed to be used. They are SUPPOSED TO BE TRANSPARENT! And because of that you can make awesome blends and ombré! I just finished 4 of my nails, each of them I applied three coats: first one just to cover glitters with thin coat and two coats thicker from cuticles and thinner towards the end to make an ombré and keep my glitters shine!Please read the description, they are MILKY! Means they are transparent and that allows you to make those new trending style 👍

Be careful when ordering the set Sweet Roses as the picture shows all pinks but what you get is pinks, orange sparkle and green sparkle. Not exactly a go together combination. While the pinks are great the sparkles are not for me. Green and Orange do not go with anything in this set. I put the orange sparkle color on top of one of my nails and then realized there is no way to make this work. Played with all the colors at that point and had to remove and start over again. Couldn't go outside with nails like this as I am a grown woman not a tween. Perhaps a young child would like this combination of colors.

You're going to need several coats of polish. It is buildable, but if you're looking for strong pigmentation, this pink set is lacking. Color 133,110,262,283,135, and 306. I like the colors, but I wish the colors were more saturated. I wouldn't repurchase this set again. I am going to try another brand. On my manicure, I used three coats of 133 and two of 262. Like I said, I loved the color. If it had stated that these were sheer colors, I would have understood, but the promotion pictures give the impression of a fully saturated color.

product experience :This is my second order of gel polishes from you guys (gellen) and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. The application process is impeccable and it dries beautifully using the uv/led light. I have recommended this brand to all my friends who have been on the search for reliable gel polishes. Usually, after a couple days there is some chipping, however, this is not the case with these gel polishes. I can rely on its durability for up to three weeks, which is quite impressive for gel polish. To add, the price point for the value is incredible. 10/10 would recommend !

I am new to doing my own gel nail polish. I have a sister in-law who owns a salon but I moved so I don't go to her salon anymore and no one else measures up for the money... So i decided to try my own.first off...Not the same as salon and i am not very good at application, but for the money this is a good product. Some reviews state that the color doesn't match up to the listing but you have to open the bottle to see the color. To me it matches fine. Outside of that i have no complaints as any issues have more to do with my lack of experience in applying but a few Youtube videos should help that. i'm sure more expensive brands would be more durable and easier to apply but AGAIN for the money i am happy. i am looking at buying more of this brand in different colors.

I specifically ordered this set because I wanted a pale yellow. I was impressed with it! It was exactly what I thought it would be. I can't recall if I did 2 or 3 coats, but if you want a more stark look I'd definitely suggest a layer of opaque white. This yellow is definitely not opaque. I'd say its translucent but you can definitely get a more opaque look with more coats. It's very pretty and great for spring. I have yet to try the other colours! I wouldn't say it wears as well as a brand name, but I change my colours up so often that does not bother me.

I used polish #050 and #123 from the kit, with a base and top coat from a different company. The colours are stunning! I'm excited to use the other colours in the kit. The polish was easy to use and went on smoothly. I had to use 3 coats for an even coverage but I always do especially thin coats to ensure they cure properly.After a week one nail had chipped. But that's being very rough on them, lots of dish washing, yard work, cleaning, moving car seats, chasing kids, etc. I'm impressed!

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have been a certified nail technician since 2011 and rarely do my own nails. I just bought a house and I'm in the middle of renos. I came across GELLEN while buying stuff for my house and saw the Macarons shades. Since Easter is coming and these colors are beautiful I just HAD to buy them (and another two sets I'll try and review later). I am beyond excited to use these on clients and my daughter. The packaging is beautiful and the colors are stunning. I highly recommend this product. The application was flawless, I used a matte top coat but I will be trying with a regular one and will update my review then. I give this product 10/10 and I have used many and this is one I will continue to purchase ❤
