Absolutely Love, Recommend 100%!
We ordered these at the recommendation of a friend to release in memory of our daughter's first birthday. They were much larger than we expected. That's not a bad thing, but keep that in mind if you're going to take them somewhere to be filled. We checked with several places and they all said that they would have to charge us the equivalent of 3 regular balloons to fill only one these. So, for example, in our area, the going rate is around $1.00 to fill one normal sized helium balloon. These would have cost us $3 each to fill. We ended up getting a tank at Walmart and filling them up ourselves at the cemetery. Mostly because they were so large, I'm not sure how we would have gotten them all to the cemetery if we had had them filled somewhere and had to transport them ourselves. Anyway, we paid $30 for the tank and filled 10 of these up and still had helium left over so that ended up being a bit of a better deal than taking them somewhere. I read reviews of people saying they had defective balloons in their packs (so we bought 2 packs just to be safe) and that they would burst if filled too much but we didn't have any issues. We filled all 10 in one of our packages and they all did just fine. We decided to safe the 2nd pack for next year. We had never filled balloons before, so we are far from being "pros" but we didn't burst any of them either like other people had mentioned. We were able to write messages on them with markers just fine. They looked so cool as we released them and I'm so disappointed I didn't think to appoint someone to video or at least take pictures of our "dove" release. But I had people asking me afterwards where we got these balloons and I've already recommended them to a few friends.

Perfect for 'Dove' Release!
The balloons were pretty awesome! I live in Hawaii and I decided to buy 50 balloons to do a balloon release for my daughters first bday - the balloons being biodegradable made me feel a lot less guilty about releasing balloons that may hurt the environment. I also bought some good 'ol cooking twine to tie the balloons by the tail until it was time for the 'dove' release and it worked perfectly! It was truly beautiful.- Here are some tips I have that hopefully are helpful to someone someday.1) The balloons need a device that can help with inflating the balloons. The port where it gets inflated is pretty small and if you can't secure it properly - you'll be wasting costly helium.2) The instructions should specify an approximate amount of helium used for 1 dove balloon (ex. helium for 1 dove balloon = helium for 3 regular balloons). That's just an example. I say this because the dimensions of the dove balloon are clearly described on the internet but it's an odd shape. I went to rent a helium tank from a party store and the guy there quoted me $200 for the helium tank! That was a helium tank that would inflate 200 regular balloons. So he thought that the helium needed for 1 dove balloon was the equivalent of the helium needed for four regular balloons...he was wrong. I had plenty of helium left after inflating 50 dove balloons! So in the case anyone out there does an actual test for the helium needed, pls share it!

Perfect!
These where great balloons! We had zero problems inflating all of them and when we set them free it was truly a beautiful thing. The balloons lingered and floated at such a peaceful and pleasant pace, we were able to watch them for a good ten to fifteen minutes on a relatively calm before they floated out of sight. Some observations for anyone who may be wondering. If you want to inflate these yourself, unfortunately you won't be able to do so with just one of those small balloon time helium cylinders, you need either the big one or two of the small ones. If you use the small ones you will be able to inflate about 10 of them with one cylinder and will need the other one for the last two. Also, you want to inflate these relatively close to the time when you wish to release them as the one we kept in the house for our daughter was on the ground by the next morning. Believe the volume of helium is just barely enough to cover the weight of the balloons so they don't start to actually float until they are almost completely filled and they fall down on only a small loss of helium.

Balloons Do not float! Can't release them.
Got 2 packs of these for a Remembrance Party. Idea was to release these after remembering out friend that had past a year ago. Bio-degradable, liked that.First noticed that the string that comes with the balloons was tied in a knot! This is fine, delicate string. Had 4 people try yo get it untied, no luck, just made a mess. Why would they tie all the string together in a knot! It seemed liked such a bad idea. String couldn't be used. When I filled up the first Dove Balloon, noticed it wouldn't float.Tried a second one, realized that had a hole in it and wouldn't inflate correctly.Tried a third balloon, inflated, but still wouldn't float.Basically, the Dove Balloons are too heavy for the helium to float it.Then tried to take some scotch tape, fold in half to stick a Dove on the wall. Balloon too heavy and wouldn't stick. Tied going up to 5 pieces of scotch tape, but still couldn't get it to stick to the wall. Not that these were meant for that, but they wouldn't float, wanted to do something with them.In the end, had to go to the store to buy some basic balloons for the party. These Dove Balloons were just a waste of time and money.
