I fell for the pictures included on the product page. They look nice in the Florsheim pics, but I should've relied on the pictures from reviewers instead. These shoes are wide and clunky looking. If you care about fashion and how your shoes look, skip these. I put them on and I looked like some frumpy car salesman trying to look sharp. My wife ripped on them right away. These shoes might look OK on a heavyset dude who wears pleated, baggy dress pants, but they don't work for someone who is aiming to be GQ. I should've taken a picture, but I was so turned off by the shoes I re-boxed them immediately and didn't look at them again. I sent them back to return the next day.

You really can't go wrong with these shoes. They're so comfortable, it almost feels like I'm wearing sneakers. I work as a lawyer and so I need to be dressed professionally a lot. These are great and they go with virtually any color suit (except for brown). Versatile, comfortable, at a price point that makes sense.--------------------***October 2019 Update***I've had these for a little over two years now and they've held up great. I wear them almost every other day (alternate with other dress shoes) so I can't say how they'd hold up if you wore them daily for a few years. But for me these have lasted very well. I condition and polish them every four or five months or so, and I've also changed the shoe laces. If you're looking for a good daily dress shoe that won't break the bank and is comfortable I highly recommend these!

I was pleasantly surprised at how the shoes fit like gloves. I have difficult feet to match a shoe with. I have spent twice as much for higher priced shoe required a trip to a local shoemaker to stretch so I could obtain a decent fit, just to start the new shoe break-in. However not with these Florsheim shoes. They are light on the feet, and comfortable from the very first step. I plan to order a second pair, just in case this style becomes discontinued. Let's face it, if shoes don; fit well, the day is just long and uncomfortable.

Previously I'd buy shoes, they'd wear out and I'd throw them away. I'm looking to keep these for 10+ years, perhaps even life. They are currently 3 years old (only 2 years of use). They looked exactly as the picture when they arrived, but I polished them up especially the toe cap. I have used these a lot, they were my daily work shoe and I have traveled extensively with them with a lot of sidewalk walking. I replaced the lower heel because the original had worn down - no fault of Florsheim, just the amount of use they were subjected to. For the first 18 months I didn't treat them particularly well, but these last 18 months I bought a shoe tree for them and have been polishing them regularly even though I have not been using them during the pandemic. They look great, fit well, and are very comfortable. I'm really happy with them. Highly recommend them but suggest also splashing out on a shoe tree from the start - it will cost more, but the shoes will last longer.

My Husband HATES to shop for anything! So getting a much needed pair of dress shoes was going to be an impossible task. This is the first time I have purchased shoes for someone other than myself and it was a success! The minute he put them on he said, “Wow, we are keeping these, they are great!” He has had them for a couple of months, wears them 2/3 times a week, and spends a lot of time walking in them. They are a great pair of shoes, well made and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The shoes look exactly like the photo and are definitely formal-looking. I wear a 10-wide and ordered the 10 3E since wide was not available. The 3E fit perfectly, very similar to a normal 2E wide shoe. The length seemed a little longer than a normal size 10 (maybe 1/2 size larger), but is perfectly acceptable. They are comfortable to wear, and seem to have a nice cushion when walking or standing for longer periods. Overall, I am quite happy with them.

When I got these shoes, they were perfect other than being a little small (or a little big) - I honestly can't remember though they ended up feeling perfect after awhile (with minimal break in period). However, just a little prior to one year, the sole of the right foot developed some sort of defect. It's not really noticeable unless you do a lot of walking (actual walking - not simply walking like trips to the bathroom or copier). The shoes are still perfect otherwise, however, I like to do a lot of walking so these shoes are only good for me on days when I can't go out to walk.

I bought a pair around $80 from Amazon. When I returned for a second pair a month later, price went up to $110. I do not know if the previous price was with large discount or they raised the price. I wish they lower the price somewhat.Any way, regardless of the price, I like them. Shoes fit very well. They are comfortable, with good materials and at the same time, very dressy. I recommend this brand.

I bought these for my wedding and they are fantastic. They look great in person and on camera. They fit and feel really nice too. Great shoes.

Returned. The shape makes your feet look shorter and larger (which is bad). On pictures they look good but in real life they are disappointing (at least on my feet)

Florsheim has been my favourite dress shoe for 30 years. I was heartbroken when they closed all their shoe shops in Toronto. I am happy to find that the quality and workmanship still exists on line.
