Good to keep in your pantry for when you want tasty hot comfort food.
Egg noodles, chunks of beef, mushrooms, and sour cream all the things that make tasty food. Pour a half a bowl full add water and heat for two minutes and you have fast easy stroganoff. I microwave mine and other than having to wait until it cools down enough is idiot proof food. I did burn my lips one time not waiting so remember cream sauce holds heat.

Delicious! One of our favorite Mountain House products.
We used to go camping a lot, so Mountain House products have been with us for many years. I started buying the larger #10 cans so we could portion out our meals. This stroganoff has been a family favorite since the beginning– good flavor, meaty chunks, and lots of sauce. Sometimes we even have a bowl or two at home. It's my husband's favorite "cheater" lunch. ;)

I gave four stars simply because I have not opened the cans. I have tried Mountain House products before and confident all the products I purchase from them are same quality.

Tastes great, lasts almost forever, never any TVP or fillers. MH is our fav brand for meals
We've had this many times and loved it. The noodles aren't mush. I do use about 2 TBSP more water than called for. I zip the pkg back up and shake a couple of times while waiting. Add maybe 5 mins to wait time as well, if you prefer a softer noodle.Mountain House is our favorite, by far, prepared foods seller. Never any TVP or fillers. They don't use wads of salt and/or citric acid as cheap "flavor". No preservatives or any other crud.As well as being a prepper in general, we live in the mountains. Being snowed in, often w/o power, is fairly normal and this is part of our preparation for it. surprisingly great
We purchased a few flavors of these for our summer camping trip. This brand came highly recommended by a local Scout Master who says his troop uses them all the time. Beef Stroganoff and Chicken and Rice were our favorites. The instructions are so easy to follow that our own kids were able to make dinner without complaining. Fed a family of 6 with some big teenage boys.
