Raising Hope Season 3: The Complete Third Season

This is rating the actual DVDR and this is the 2nd set i had replaced that still will not play any episodes past the 1st few. All 3 disks on both season 2 & 3 refuse to play the last 4 episodes. ( a total of 24 episodes will NOT play ) DVD shows scratches when i bought factory sealed condition. This was obviously recorded on a DVDR b/c its purple on the reverse side. Its not something you can clean to fix...its a manufacturer error. I wish there was a company like FOX that had this as an original professional release to buy. This simply will not play the final episodes on both season 2 & 3. Tried several players. I don't recommend losing money on this expensive set until the defect is corrected. Its over priced for a burned copy anyhow. 2 stars b/c I love the show

Undoubtedly, one of the premiere trailer park comedy series on TV, it is growing fabulously in character development, writing, and creative material since its beginnings in season 1.Cloris Leachman's expanding role as Maw Maw in season 3 brings an instant "It's about time" to this viewer. Her part and performance delivery week after week just gets better and funnier, to the point being the secret addictive spice of this unlikely concoction that would otherwise be another so-so bland attempt in the sitcom world. It's why she's won 9 total Emmy Awards. For the future sake of the show's longevity, great move.

This is such an underrated comedy. I love it so much!

At first glance, I was not sure what to make of this show. I did not know that it was made by the same folks as My Name is Earl, or I probably would have turned my attention to it sooner. I find that this series is really funny and light-hearted. It doesn't take itself too seriously, which is why we can get behind the kind but morally ambiguous family. The ending of the second season was a little much for me, but the main tie in is Sabrina and Jimmy's fate. This season has so far done an excellent job of keeping the humor from growing stale while maintaining the quirky nature of the characters and their relationships. I am glad I own my seasons, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good laugh that will also make you go "hmmm", but not guilty.Part of you will think, "I'm glad I'm not THAT family. They're screwed up!" But a part of you will also say, "I wish I had their ideals," granted not as much as the former. This shows how the relationship of family is stronger than material wealth, but that even those blessed with a lot get that family is more important. The divide isn't as distant as you might think.Great job, Raising Hope cast and crew, writers and director, and all involved! Keep these seasons coming!

The first disc fron this seller did not work, however the other ones did. It is a good season and continues to add from season two.

Wonderful tv series

Great show

A very funny series with a very capable cast. My wife and I were flying back from Orlando and there were two episodes of this series on Jet Blue's feed and I have to tell you that even though I hadn't had any liquor or other mind affecting products I was laughing out loud at the situations and antics of this family. I was sorry that it ended.

I was shocked to learn that they were not showing the last two seasons on uk tv, if they did then it wasn't promoted enough. It's a great series and I love it. I haven't seen season four yet but I'm saddened by it being the last series. Anyway it's really funny and the family are really lovable and it's easy to identify with them.
