It’s important to match the color and to get comfortable while working so as not to rush through it ...
It was much easier than I thought to fill and camouflage a gaping crack in the wood of a dresser that was delivered to me damaged in transit. The company I ordered it from said I could donate or dispose it as I wished, so I kept it and decided to fix it so the crack wouldn’t show. This wood putty did the trick. It’s been over 6 weeks now and even I have a hard time remembering or locating the place where the long crack used to be. It’s important to match the color and to get comfortable while working so as not to rush through it and make a mess.

Great if you are not in a hurry with DHL
I bought four different colors of this putty. The last one received was the "ebony" color I needed most. The first 3 colors came in a week. The "ebony" took 17 days shipping from Kentucky to Oregon through DHL Global Mail.I don't want to down the product, but if yours is shipped through DHL, don't be in a hurry. The putty itself is o.k. and as other mention, it takes a long time to set up. Also, it dries out after opening.

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DRY HARD
THIS THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DRY HARD. IT ACTUALLY SAYS THAT ON THE CONTAINER, but in small black, almost invisible type. If you need to sand and finish your "defect," this is NOT the stuff you want.

Matches and blends (into) wood really well
I own the set. I have tried other fillers/putty over the years and have never found any that particularly worked well....matched the wood, could be mixed, etc. I was given this name/brand by the cabinet installers/cabinet company that redid our kitchen and bathroom, so I ordered the set and it works great....the best I have found/used to date.

This Putty is Great!
If you don't want to end up having to mix too many hues to color match, this stuff is awesome. It's not a paintable hard set finish, but a putty that stays pliable for small gouges and chips. Since I rent an apartment, I keep this stuff around for when I need to fill in small holes without actually altering the hardwood floors and since it's an oil based putty, it can withstand cleaning and moisturizes the spot instead of drying it out.

leaves a shine and too much oil
This product is very oily. It will leave a shine in areas that you do not want and is very difficult to remove if at all. You are better off spending more for better brand products such as Mohawk-Finishing. I purchased this because I wanted it fast. I am in the cabinet business and use many products of this nature to touch up and repair wood. I will not be purchasing this again and will be tossing the one I have in the garbage.

Easy to use, some colors lighter than in chart
I like this product and it was recommended by my flooring installer. However, the color chart is not a true representation of the color. I bought nutmeg, it is much lighter than shown in this chart. Now I will have to buy dark walnut and try again. The putty colors can be mixed. No it does not harden to be sanded or drilled. But it is very easy to use to fill nail holes in the floor and baseboard trim. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the color issue.

Good quality putty, somewhat short shelf life
This is a very good putty, especially when used in the first 2-3 months. Once the cap is opened, no matter what I did, I could not prevent drying. Maybe that is normal, but other than that, I would have given it a 5
