Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish, Shade Boho a-Go-Go 549 (Packaging May Vary), 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I’m extremely happy with this purchase! The Sally Hansen gel polish color I am wearing is Rosey Riviter with the gel top coat. After a week the polish is finally starting to chip. Not bad for the price!!To get the polish to last I used 2 thin coats of the regular polish and gave it 5 minutes to dry in between coats. Then I applied the gel top coat on top. The gel polish would probably work with regular polish too... my accent nail has two coats of the Sally Hansen Rosey Riviter polish and then an Essie glitter polish on top.

I have been using this product for a couple of years now and I am a huge fan! Originally, I used this in conjunction with the matching SH gel base colors, but then I realized that I can use this as a top coat over any brand of color- even the cheaper stuff! It might not last quite as long, but I wanted more shade variety (I happen to like Sinful Colors). There are some important things that I have learned along the way, which previous reviews also touched upon:•Apply this topcoat AFTER your underlying nail color is completely DRY unless you want a tacky mess that takes hours to set, and has the potential to bubble up. I happen to do my manicures in two stages, just so that it sets really well. I don't do my entire manicure in one sitting. Instead, I apply my color and later on I come back and apply the top coat. I like to leave about an hour between coats of topcoat. More time, yes, but flawless results.•Leave extra time at the end for this stuff to dry. It is THICK, so it needs extra time to set and fully dry. Even if it is dry to the touch it has a tendency to stay tacky for quite a while. So just be patient. :)•It is harder to remove than regular nail polish. Look for pure acetone remover to speed up removal time.•Take a few extra moments to apply top coat under and on the tips of your nails, making sure to hit the very edges. This gives me an extra level of staying power.My manicures last about a week and I touch up just the tips in between, as they start to wear down. A single swipe of color and a coat of topcoat usually does the trick.Also, sometimes I apply a full coat of topcoat between manicures to refresh that "wet look" when I don't have time to do a complete manicure, (this can be achieved with a regular topcoat as well).Another tip: If your nails are weak, brittle, or tend to break, I recommend keeping them short. The more the nails bend and flex due to a longer length, the greater your chance of getting nicks and chips in your manicure. A slightly shorter nail just tends to hold a manicure longer, in my experience.Happy Polishing! 💅🏻

I love sally Hansen Miracle gel polish. Goes on nice and lasts about 1-2 weeks. However I purchased wild for violet and the color I received does not look like the picture online. Since it’s a flammable product you CANNOT return to amazon or get a refund. Just purchase your polish in store.

This is a really nice shade of gray. It is light but has enough depth; it does not read white at all. I have used it twice, once with the shiny top coat and once with the matte top coat. I prefer the matte look for this particular color; it looks very modern but still subtle.My take on this particular brand of no-light gel: Using this brand for 6 months now, I have not had a single chip in my polish. I apply 2-3 coats of color and 2 coats of the matte or shiny topcoat, allowing dry time between each coat. It is worth a little extra time for perfect nails and saving $$$ by not going to the salon. This product is a system, and you need to use the same brand/type of polish for the color and the clear topcoat.

***UPDATE: The last time I applied this polish, it lasted for TWENTY-ONE days with no chips. I did not ‘baby’ my nails - I went to water aerobics, did housework, typed. I am even more impressed! I’d give this product 10 stars if that was an option.***Terra-Coppa is a beautiful "frosted" color. I received lots of compliments from friends who get their nails done every week. I noted on my calendar when I applied it - lasted EIGHT days with NO chipping. Regular polish lasts, maybe, 24 hours before the first chip appears and this is with a good topcoat.TIPS: 1) take your time when applying; 2) let each coat dry completely, including the special top coat; 2) takes about 3-4 times longer to remove; 4) can be removed with regular polish remover. This doesn't bother me at all when my nails look like I just got a manicure eight days after I applied it. I love the fact that I don't need to baby my nails with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. I go about my day as usual.

This is my new favorite top coat. I use it with any nail polish and with nail polish strips. It dries quickly, but once you're at about half of the bottle, it gets a bit thick and gooey, but its still usable. It dries quickly so I go over it a couple of times. But it does make my manicure last 7-10 days without chipping, and usually its one or two nails. I just touch them up. I am a fan of this.

Love miracle gel, this color looks nothing like the photo, it is gold irridescing to the pink... Like shimmering rose gold the pink isn’t the primary color like the picture shows. It’s pretty but not what I expected. Miracle gel is fabulous nail color and the only one that will stand up to my hot tub therapy. I spend an hour at at time, and go in every other day or so due to my arthritis. This polish doesn’t come off. Lasts two weeks. I might get a crack in the surface. I just put another coat of top coat and it stays put.

I have this nail polish in a variety of colors and I must say I've been pleased with each one. They all hold up well and don't chip as long as a top coat is used along with them. Any topcoat will work well. It doesn't have to be the top coat of the same brand. I've had no chips so far for the 3 days since I last painted my nails. I'm very pleased with this polish. It holds up well as long as a top coat is used along with it. Anyone who plans on using this polish should also purchase a top coat as without a topcoat it will chip off right away. I made that mistake at first and now I know to always use a topcoat. Another 5-star product. Thanks, Amazon!

I can't believe this but this nail varnish ACTUALLY LASTS. Only 2 tiny chips after a week of wear when used with the brand's top coat. The texture is a bit watery which was concerning first but when you apply two coats it will be fine. I'm definitely going to order other colours too.

Awful. I bought this product believing it will work as described. I painted my nail and the very next day the varnish was chipping even though I had not immerse my hands into water. The colour is somehow okay and it is easy to remove with 100% acetone remover but not worth it if it does not work as describe. Suppose to last a bit longer as that is what gel nail varnish do.

This is a lovely colour as it looks comes out like a teal blue...goes on well and not glupey as other reviews suggest . I was dissappointed my nails chipped within 3 days even using the suggested top coat...maybe washing our hands so much more and using ant bac stuff plays a part in this?!

These Sally Hansen gel nail varnishes are great. Hardens nails without peeling! Can remove with strong everyday nail polish remover. This colour is beautiful. It takes a couple of coats but much better than all the fussing of blue light gel, with messy removing. Definite five star

Love this nail varnish. Beautiful colour especially with a tan. I use a gel top coat to gloss it and keep it longer.
