Seiko Men's Essentials Stainless Steel Japanese Quartz With Silicone Strap, Green (Model: SUR325)

Classically styled field watch from Seiko. I loved this brand as a kid and was looking to replace a 20 year field watch from Swiss Army that no longer works. I’m glad I found this.

Muy buen reloj, la caja esta construida con muy buenos materiales, correa ajustable muy estilosa, facil lectura de hora sumado a que tiene iluminacion para la oscuridad.Caja de 40mm que es un tamaño estandar, ni muy pequeño pero tampoco muy grande.

I got this watch as a simple and easy to read solution for outdoor use. After a little over a week of use I really like its simplicity and ease to read. I have already bounced it off of a garage door track while walking by it with no ill effect. I am especially impressed with the resilience of the finish. The shortcoming of this watch is the band it comes with, which is stiff and only includes one keeper, making the tag end protrude awkwardly. I also did not like the taper of the original band, much happier with a Barton bands crafted canvas band in 21mm. Overall a good field watch with no issues so far.

Nice watch; what I wanted, but it was REALLY ANNOYING that there were no instructions in the box. I had do go online to obtain instructions to set the correct date. Instead of instructions, there might have been a note with the link to the instructions, but that wast not provided. (Not your problem, but the online instructions from Seiko did not accurately state the sequence of steps to set the date.)

Don't like date.. presentation

I bought this watch to replace my Casio Marlin. It lost five minutes over a day, three days in a row. Then it lost 2 hours in an afternoon. I thought I had a defective unit and had it replaced. My second unit came in today and lost five minutes in 3 hours. Then gained 15 minutes in one hour. I dont understand how a Seiko could be so bad at keeping time. I'm very disappointed. I will return to a Casio or other brand.

Neo military style watch, even the digits are army styled.Nice finish and top quality for the price point.Very accurate, mine is about +4sec/month - your mileage might vary.Negatives:Crappy thin, ugly strap, buy a nato or leather strap, will make it 10x better looking.Lug/strap size is 21mm, a bit of an odd one but nato 22mm will fit fine (see pic), leather not so much.

This watch is not worth a dime. I just missed the window to return it and it has not kept accurate time for the first month and the date has jumped ahead three or four days without warning. Made the equinox very confusing. Just terrible watch. Do not buy this watch.

If you are looking for a simple yet versatile watch this is a good option. Clear legible face making it easy to read the time and date. The only slight negative in my opinion is the narrow band/ strap however the watch is still very comfortable to wear.
