Exceeded my expectations

This monoscope has taken my bird watching to a new level! What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion as I started learning about all of the different species near my home. The low light night vision on this monoscope provides amazing clarity for both photos and videos. I would say that during night use I can easily see birds and other wildlife that are 200+ meters away (that is the length of more than 2 football fields!). It has a 16340 rechargeable lithium battery, which is easily charged using the 1000mAh adapter or simply plugging it into my computer via the provided USB cable. Daytime use of the monoscope is unreal. Being able to clearly view wild life that is over 1000 meters away is something I had never experienced prior to owning this. The 8x digital magnification makes it look like I am right there seeing everything. The monoscope is extremely easy to travel with and now accompanies me to all of my favorite viewing spots. It comes with a convenient storage bag and the entire thing weighs less than a pound. I could not be happier with this monoscope purchase. From the clear HD videos and photos, to the excellent battery life, long distance viewing in both day and night times, plus the extreme lightweight and convenience, everything works flawlessly together to provide me with amazing experiences in nature.

I was in the Army for 25 years and used night vision a lot. This competes with devices that cost thousands of dollars clear view easily focusing; pictures and video come out clear I am still learning the functions but for the basic functions they are pretty easy to use the price scared me a little because I thought it would perform like a cheap 100 dollar item so one night after a couple drinks I went ahead and ordered it have not been disappointed had the item for couple weeks so can’t comment on how long it will last but don’t see any red flags that look like points of failure

We purchased two and really like them, we are still learning the basics. We did not receive a lot of the accessories. One missing hand strap, cleaning cloth SD card and instructions the second one is missing shoulder strap. We do like them though.

Then unit is very basic and reminds me of the old VHS camcorders. However, when you look at the general price of Night Vision equipment, this is really a good deal.Its light and can record videos or photos. There is a tripod screw hole at the bottom as well. Manual, even though translated to English, is easy to read and understand. The system is intuitive and not hard to grasp either.Lowest magnification is 5x and then you can zoom in from there.Works in the day with the lens cap on, and works great at night with the lens cap removed (It's an IR filter.) Dont'e remove lens cap during the day! Still testing battery life, so no opinion on that yet.Comfortable in my hand and the control pads at the top are easy to use with one hand.The picture is a little grainy and you do get motion blur if you sweep the camera around quickly at night. However I am not surprised given the price point as clearer cameras cost a bundle due to the internal electronics.But it clears up nicely if you keep the unit still. Like I say, its not the same as the million-dollar military night vision, but if you want a simple easy to use basic night vision setup, I do strongly recommend them. Shipping was also super fast and reliable. Really happy with mine.

This night vision monocular includes a pouch that is both a protective case for storage and for carrying. It has a thick loop on the back top for running a waist belt or clipping to a backpack. The pouch front pocket has enough room for the usb charing cable and lens wiping cloth. The same durable material is also used on the wrist and back palm strap for carrying this night vision scope. The buttons are clustered together on the top and are simple to learn and press so you do not have to keep looking at the top of scope then refocusing or finding what you were looking at. The led screen boots up with a space satellite image then goes to black white night mode. I am very impressed with how far you can see with a scope priced under $100.

Very nice product, I've always wanted a cost effective night vision scope to view the critters roaming around at night. I was surprised with all that was included: battery charger & cord, a re-chargeable battery, scope has a hand strap, a lens cleaning cloth & a soft carrying case with a shoulder strap. Note: you may want to order extra rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (type 16340 rated at 3.7 volts) & a charger that can handle a couple of these batteries, or more. Especially if you plan to do long viewing times. The battery is advertised to last up to 5 hours if the infra-red illumination isn't needed (when enough ambient light is available i.e. the moon, nearby street lights) & 2.5 hours when infra-red illumination from the scope is needed when using in total darkness. Note: I've seen a comment about using non-rechargeable batteries, if you opt for this, make sure the battery is rated for 3.7 volts (the ones I had seen were rated for only 3 volts). Also, it was recommended the supplied battery is charged for 10 hours before using your scope for the 1st time.
