Dreams: The Collection

It's all good.

I needed me some Cranberries for my album collection but finding albums on vinyl that were released after CDs took over the market is hit-and-miss based on the whims of the industry and their re-release desires. It took a while to ship and receive this but it was worth the wait. It has zero background noise like a CD but is turntable sound quality. People may moan about what songs should have been on it but it is a great enough collection that you can't not have it if you're a fan.

Great album! Sound quality is a 85% but not bad. It would be better if it had a little more vocal to bring her voice out more, Still great! The only thing is cover is very thin. Delivered in its own box so not an issue. Love it!

Sounds great. Very enjoyable listen.

I like the choices for the collections and the music is good quality, some static but nothing to bad. Only real downside is the flimsy packaging. I was shocked that the record remained undamaged in shipping with how flimsy the packaging was.

Wow do I love this collection!

The album itself is amazing...but it arrived over 2 weeks late and was literally rubber banded to the top of my mailbox...in the rain. I'm lucky to have seen it before the vinyl was damaged.

When I placed the disc on my Professional turntable, I was excited to finally hear that beautiful voice on vinyl. The quality of the vinyl is not good, thus, my 3 star review. Crackle, pop, and skip city - until I gave it a thorough cleaning. The skips are gone but many of the pops are still present. May need another cleaning... Sad for a new vinyl.As for the content, 5 Stars! It's The Cranberries. One would have to be heartless not to love it. That voice, the unforgettable melodies. It takes me straight back to a more sensible, and decent time in the 90's. A time when it was okay to be good to each other. Nostalgia aside, even if I have to clean this record a thousand times, I'll never stop playing it.

Brilliant album and another chance to hear the distinctive voice of Dolores Riordan. However, why oh why was this issued as a single LP with 11 tracks when the CD version has 20? So many great tracks have been left off the vinyl version. I would have gladly paid extra for a Deluxe double vinyl version!

The great thing about this compilation is that the 3 Cranberries tracks everyone knows and mostly want to hear - Dreams, Linger and Zombie - are the 1st 3 tracks. They were just one of hundreds of 90s jangly guitar bands, apart from Delores' unique, outstanding voice. She wasn't embarrassed about using her vocal tricks - to great effect - and folks loved it. "Everyone else is doing it. Why can't we?" indeed. And they got away with it. The rest of the album is pleasant enough and in fact very enjoyable, but basically it's more of the same...but then which band isn't? You either like the sound or not and I do. It's so sad Delores died so young. May perpetual light shine upon her.

Soy entusiasta del vinyl, y a quienes lo sean sabrán que siempre el ritual desde abrir el empaque y ponerlo en la torna es algo satisfactorio, y disfrutar de la voz de Dolores en este disco en especial me evoca a tiempos nostálgicos. Compren musica en formato físico nada se iguala ni se disfruta tanto, en mi humilde opinion

Bought 2 brand new LP's. I have had this problem many times: you buy a full priced, brand new piece of vinyl, and at home on your record player it's all wobbly. Sound is pretty awesome, clear, full, wide and dynamic but lack of QC is a real nightmare. Send both LP's for replacement.

My first Cranberries album, and definitely not my last. The songs are amazing and heartfelt and the Zombie version on this album has been on repeat constantly, Dolores' voice is incredible and haunting and the whole album is great.
