This is one of the most unusual but artistically excellent and enticing art book I have. Personally if you like this sort or art you'll like this.

Kamikaze Girls is a highly imaginative vision of the female nude. An artist, an illustrator, and a photographer, Stefan Gesell seemingly paints his nude subjects into existence, right into the image sensor of his digital camera. It's a kaleidoscopic journey into sumptuous naked flesh, dreamlike use of color, and breathtaking light. Although nudes make up a significant amount of this work, it does contain a fair amount of surreal, sexually inspired non-nudes too.

Dieses Buch ist absolut empfehlenswert!!!Die Fotografien sind fantastisch und sehr professionell. Mit Pornografie hat das wenig zu tun. Kamikaze Girls ist ein Buch, das künstlerisch sehr wertvoll ist. Die Frauen wurden liebevoll in Szene gesetzt, die Fotos sind oftmals sehr detailreich und versprühen eine ganz eigene Atmosphäre, die nicht selten auch ans Morbide grenzt. Die Fotografien sind dunkel und erotisch. Sie erinnerten mich teilweise ans Resident Evil Universum oder an Filme wie Kill Bill, Ultra Violet oder 300.Begeisterung pur.

Very beautiful picture's of this "not so know" man.For me one of the best photographers of the world. Perfect!

Nachdem ich bereits mehrfach Workshops bei Stefan Gesell besucht habe, habe ich mir dieses Buch zur Inspiration gekauft. Perfekt in Szene gesetzte Model's, Darkart gepaart mit knisternder Erotik...

On est ici en présence d'un photographe qui domine la mise en scène, la prise de vues, le post-traitement. On pourra juste regretter le coté "sombre" dans tous les sens du terme de bon nombre de clichés...
