Horizon - Titan XG60 - Crawl Space Dehumidifier - 60 Pints Per Day - 250 CFM

Ordered, arrived quickly. Setup and turned on with ease (except it is ~40lbs).Works great! Removes moisture from the crawl space as expected and desired.Emailed and called their sales department to inquire on the remote control. No answer. Still no answer after 2 weeks. Albeit that would be an add-on but if they can't answer an email or return a phone call it would call into question if they would stand behind the product if need be.

Not worth the money. Filters are crazy expensive and very difficult to change. Unit did not defrost as it should have, filter looked like a big snow cone. Trying to thaw it out I bent the filter, $80 for a new one!! Only one!! Machine has never worked right. Company doesn't care in my opinion, called them a few times. Crawl space humidity is at 70% and it's a small area! Going to buy the Sylvane for a little more money and much better reviews and better customer service. $850 down the drain!

I installed 2 of these in my crawl space a few months ago. I can tell a big difference in the humidity levels in my house already. Our air conditioner would keep the temp at 74 as set, but it didn't run long enough to really get the humidity level in the house to a comfortable zone. I know the titans are dragging a lot of water out of the crawl space air since the condensation pipe outside is always dripping water. My crawl space is that, a crawl space and it was at times a challenge to manure these things into place around all the ductwork we have down there. I'm really glad these were as small as they are as a larger unit would not have fit. I was worried about the electric bill with them running a lot, but I was pleasantly surprised at how modarate the increase was (only about $15 and I'm running 2). So far I am very pleased with this product and I look forward to many years of service and increased comfort.

We had a big mold problem so we got a professional company to line under our house with plastic and we installed the Horizon. It helped a lot and made a big difference along with an in door Dehumidifier as well. It got rid of our moisture/mold problem completely. Build quality is great.

Failed after 6 months of service. Will not get out of error code. I have emailed and called OEM multiple times and get no response.Worst money I have ever spent.

It did not work

I purchased one of these units and it worked great for about 10 months. I pulled it out of the crawl space and began to see if I could find out why it was freezing up (I already new the answer). It was still under warranty so I called the factory Rep here in my great state of North Carolina.. No seriously it is a great state. But back to my problem. I could take it in or mail it back (which that was not going to happen... mail it back was stupid expensive). I put a tap valve on the suction line and sure enough... low on Freon. Condenser coil had a leak. The coil could not be repaired and only way to get replacement was to pay diagnostic fee. Oh and even then the labor to replace the coil was not covered... NICE !!! Unfortunately this is a Chinese piece of warmed over crap. The case is heavy. But the internal parts that matter are really cheap. I tried to save a couple of bucks and as usual... it cost me. I will now spend a few more dollars and buy an American made machine. Don't waste your money like others and myself.

I bought my Horizon (Eclipse) model from a Crawl Space encapsulation dealer 3 years ago. It has failed and now won't dehumidify at all.I contacted the factory in noth Carolina by phone and by email...but have been ignored. My unit is under warranty....but i can't get it repaired!That's one expensive mistake. I'd buy an American made dehumidifier, with real after-the-sale service if I were you!
