Lavender Violets Gel Nail Polish Kit - 18+3 Colors Silver Purple Soak-off UV LED Nail Gel with Base, Matte and Glossy Top Coat F985

I already had a UV light, because I used to do my own gel nails, which is not easy. I love the gel nail polish because it is much healthier on my nails then gluing on nail extensions and putting on the gel powder. You can do several layers to make it nice and thick, so it almost works the same as gel nails. I recommend, multiple layers for a nice thickness or it will chip off. I also leave it under the light longer than it says in the instructions. My light gives me a choice of 120 or 180 seconds, and I leave the base and color coats for 120, and the top coat for 180. I end up with a nice hard nail. Make sure you only go up to your cuticle and do not get any on your cuticle or you will end up with ridges on the sides of your nails which will make it want to peel off. DO NOT PEEL IT OFF. Peeling it off will damage your nails. File it off or use acetone. It takes a lot of work to get this polish off, so be aware. However, I love it because there are a lot of colors, it lasts a about two weeks or more, depending on how hard I am on my nails, and I can make some fun designs! Ignore my dry skin in my photos. Egads!

I was concerned with the reviews but tried it anyways because I loved the combination of colors - particularly that they were all glitter/shimmer. The colors are all very opaque. The set came in a very nice box that is great for storage. I tested with 2 coats of each color but several could be ok with just 1. I tried other, highly rated gel polishes on amazon (I won't name them but it really ~Bugs~ me ((hint hint)) how bad they were) and this polish is so much better. The colors with the chunkier glitter are super thick, so I will try some thinner for those. But even without, I was able to get an even, smooth finish with every color. Photos are without sun with flash; with sun with flash; and with sun without flash. Also, you can see that most colors are very accurate to the bottles (but the bottles all look shimmery and some polishes are glitter instead). Overall, I'm super excited and can't wait to try them on my nails. The hardest part is choosing which color to wear first.(The white looking bottle actually has more of a pearl/pink shimmery finish but did not photograph great as part of the set).

This product would be considered Perfect if it were at least 10ml-15 ml per bottle.The consistency is amazing, and the coloring is great!

I love gel nail polish...I normally use gelish, but wanted to try something less expensive and see the quality, also it was a lightning deal. I wasnt disappointed and it also cuts out a extra step of the ph bond. I've used the entire process on my toes, and used one of the glitters as a layer on my fingers along with gelish, just because gelish has a strengthener base coat that I really love that protects my fingernails a concern I dont have as much with my toes. I have no complaints. It lasts a minimum of 2 weeks on my toes with no chipping. I usually redo my nails and toes every 2 weeks in general so I am sure it could last longer.

And I will in this case, also. I don’t have a problem with the smaller bottles. It’s quality for me.And so far, it’s lacking quality.They’re ‘gloppy’. The glitter is thick and clumpy, I should say. And the coats take foreverrrr to dry.I’ll see how long it lasts. I’m fairly rough on my nails. If it’s longer lasting for me, I can get over the drying time, and come back with a newer rating.

A few of the bottles I have had dried thick clumps that essentially make the polish useless due to the tiny clumps that make the polish dry very lumpy.Someone mentioned that there's lots of glitters and that's true, I'm sure you can add extra layers but having more than 5 layers of polish makes me question the logic of the formula and each cure takes longer than the last. I included an image from one of the clump-free bottles and you can see how sheer the color is when you have a single layer of paint. Compare that to the pale pink glittery image above.My main issue with this is that it's not returnable, something not at all listed for the product. I understand that they can't take back certain types of chemicals, but the logic astounds. I was asked for proof of the quality, which I provided, but then I was told that I need a photo of the box and shipping label to get a refund or Amazon credit.I'm not sure about y'all but if I don't throw the box away immediately it becomes a part of the furniture in my apartment. Of course the box and label were gone.I had to follow up with their team for an answer on the refund after being left on read for almost a week. They essentially said there was nothing they could do due to policy. Had I known ahead of time, I likely wouldn't have ordered these and purchased from a brick and mortar.This is the second time Amazon has done something like this to me after providing pictures and I am likely going to begin limiting the amount of money I spend on here as a result.

To anyone who is thinking about buying this from the beginners to the professionals, I would recommend this kit. The colors are stunning and offer lots of glitters and metallics to choose from. Bottles are small but you will use them forever as it doesn’t take much.Easy to use and a bit thick but I love that in a good gel polish as it gives good coverage. On my second set since buying and using this kits and as someone who did cosmetology it’s a dead ringer for me.Will update with pics when I get a few more spare moments.

I use alot of Gel Polishes, From Salon Brands, to Value Brands. I rarely leave a detailed review, however I truly love Lavender Violets gel Polishes. Yes colour bottles aren't huge, but they are full, and provide a quality of pigmented gel that compares to higher end Brands.I LOVE the bigger sized Top, and Base Coats that come with each set.I have purchased multiple sets from Lavender Violets, and will continue to support their fabulous products.The boxes arrive, beautifully packaged, and the boxes are top quality, and look very expensive. Soo gorgeous!Every bottle is identifiable, no more labeling. Lavender Violets ensures that you can easily know what colour is in each bottle.Texture is on point. I never have to use more than two coats of colour. They are soo pigmented. The sparkle colours are thicker, and that is expected.After purchasing multiple sets on Amazon from Lavender Violets, I know I can trust the quality, consistency, of each bottle.I Hope to see Lavender Violets open a website that ships all their products worldwide. As I have been browsing their website and have a large list of items I would love to add to my salon.For the price point, I have never been soo happy with a gel product. They blend well for ombre, which is difficult with some other low cost brands.

I really like the variety of colors. I haven't yet applied to my nails, but while applying to my displays, one thing I noticed is how thick the glitter polishes are. The other thing that I dislike about this kit, is that many of the bottles (and I didn't show them all) had the same number on the bottom, so I basically re-numbered them for my display. Will probably end up buying the other kit of 18 gels, as I find the price very reasonable for the quantity of bottles. Note that bottles are pretty small too compared to other brands.

Overall, the polishes are quite long lasting, love the colours and they're nice and opaque after 2 coats. There are just a few things I have noticed with the product. The colours aren't quite exactly what I was expecting, based off advertisement. They are all glittery but the polishes with bigger pieces of glitter in them tend to be a thicker consistency which is a bit more difficult to apply. The base coat and top coats also have a very strong chemical smell to them so you will need to apply them in a well ventilated area (don't smell after curing).

Livraison rapide, très belles couleurs dans une jolie boite. Pour le moment je n'ai essayé qu'une seule couleur. Bonne couverance en 2 couches mais je trouve le pinceau un peu gros pour de si petites bouteilles. Après 2 semaines le vernis était toujours impeccable. Voilà justement le plus gros problème.Ce fût toute une histoire pour essayer de l'enlever. Même avec la machine à vapeur. Pas loin d'une heure pour tout enlever. Sinon, très contente de mon achat.

As other reviewers have said, the polish itself is quite thick. I found the consistency to actually be a good thing though - the polish sticks well to the brush which makes it easy to apply a thin layer while also staying "in the lines" even using my left hand. I only needed one coat of color to achieve full coverage, they're super glittery, and the no-wipe top coat is a game changer for me! The only thing I dislike is it looks like you can't get replacement base and top coat bottles by themselves and I'm sure I'll need more before I run out of colors.
