M.A.S.K. (Complete Collection) [Non USA PAL Format]

This is the complete show, contains all 75 episodes. The picture quality is not quite as good as the Shout Factory’s release but it has every episode. If you don’t mind a region 2/B disc and able to watch this on a PC or region free player grab this. I got this for $11 dollars compared to Shouts $50 price tag. I mainly got this set for the final ten episodes for season two as a companion to my Shout Factory boxset. I recommend it if your a fan, maybe one day Shout Factory will remaster the last few episodes so we can have the best quality on video. This will do for now and I’m a big fan of the this seller on Amazon.

Right price for classic item but get a region free dvd player. Better price instead of paiding 75.00 at the shout factory.

The product is OK and as advertised. Nevertheless, when it said that could played all over the world I expected to have other spoken languages, it is only in English.

I hate it because I'm an idiot and didn't fully read the title of this item. When I received this item I soon discovered I am unable to watch this. So now I'm either stuck with a series I cannot watch or I'll give it to Goodwill or the dump.

I am a fan of M.a.s.k and remember watching this as a kid over 30 years ago. I've always wanted the episodes on dvd but the us version is out of print and overpriced at the moment. This pal European version of M.a.s.k requires a region free or a region 2 dvd player. I own a region free blue ray player so there was no reason for me not to own this dvd. It has the complete series on 8 discs. Watching the original episodes of M.a.s.k brought back alot of memories especially how classic and real cartoons from that era were compared to the ones the kids watch nowadays. I recommend this dvd to any fans of M.a.s.k and of classic 1980s cartoons.

Det är nu man förstår hur kvalitén var när man var barn. Filmen är som den var på 80-talet. Är man ute efter förbättrad bildkvalité så finns det andra utgåvor. Själva grejen är att se ”originalet” och jag är nöjd.

It's awesome to take a trip down memory lane and watch these cool M.A.S.K. cartoons from the 80's again; especially now that we can get the complete (S1+S2) on DVD. I would have preferred if it was on BD but beggars can't be choosers as it is pretty hard to get cartoon series of the 80's on BluRay.Unfortunately my copy had an issue with one of the episodes where you could hear the audio of what sounded like another episode. Not sure how something like that can happen but during the quiet moments I could definitely hear faint talking of the characters when nobody was talking. Maybe an issue with how the episodes were stored or something so that audio from another episode bled into this one? No clue. Fortunately it was only one episode and the others appeared perfectly fine.Ofcourse the series was more about selling the toys but that was usually the case back in the 80's with all those cartoons like G.I.Joe and He-Man etc.So except for that one episode with the audio bleedthrough it's a nice set to have. Personally I wouldn't bother with S2 as it was more about racing and suddenly all the Venom agents knew the identities of M.A.S.K. agents; when that was such a closely guarded secret during S1. You could definitely tell that S2 was less about telling a coherent story and more about cramming as many new vehicles and mini-playsets in for the parents to buy their kids haha. :POverall I give it a solid 4 out of 5. If it didn't have that audio issue with the one episode it would have been a 5 out of 5 as this collection is the only one (to my knowledge) that offers all the episodes at an affordable price (I only paid €13,21 for it at the time).

So happy to have these episodes. Was eyeing the North American Region 1 release for a while but could never justify the cost for myself.Came across the UK Region 2 release here for substantially less and did some digging on the Internet to verify it was the complete series and discovered that it was, in fact, more complete that the pricier R1 release due to the fact that the North American distributor never obtained the rights to the series’ 10-episode second season, while the UK distributor has the rights for all 75 episodes.Only watched a couple of episodes so far but transfer seems okay. Just glad to be able to watch the show again.
