Adds moisture to skin

This is a very good moisturizing oil. It absorbs well, and it isn't greasy. It has a light brown color in the dropper, but it is not noticeably colored on my skin, nor does it stain clothing so far as I can tell. I have not noticed a smell, which is good. I like that it is 100% oil--nothin else. I have used it in three it different ways: as a moisturizer on some rough skin, on my face at night, and as a moisturizer with shampoo for my scalp. It worked very well as a moisturizer. I had been using Vaseline which works great, but then it occurred to me that I really didn't want petroleum jelly--produced from oil--being absorbed through my skin. Second, buckthorn oil did nothing for the lines on my face, though it may have prevented some if I used it at a younger age. Third, it was good for my scalp. I added a couple of drops to the shampoo in my hand before rubbing it into my hair. Some shampoos have vegetable oils in them. I don't have particular problems with a dry scalp, but once a week shampooing with a little oil is a good preventative. I tried the same regimen with two other oils: Almond Oil and Olive Oil. Pretty much the same results with both of these. I can't say that any of them worked better. Obviously, the olive oil is cheaper, but it's also heavier. I note that even Aristotle noticed the value of olive oil for the skin, though it is not good to have too much internally. He doesn't mention buckthorn oil as far as I know.

This product is wonderful not staining and so hydrating. I have nothing bad to say about this. It had no odor. Please restock same great product. I am a new customer. I want to buy more again and again. Thanks!

This product is amazing. I mix it with my shea butter and apply it to my skin twice daily. The scars I have on my face from acne is fading and my skin looks so refreshed and youthful. I will purchase this product "a lot" in the future.

This oil smells correctly for this type of product. It is dark, a bit sticky, and exactly what you want for topical sea buckthorn oil. I would recommend!

I am on a face oil kick and trying all sorts of oils in my skin care products. I add them to face creams or use them “straight-up” on my skin. This is 100% pure Sea Buckthorn oil and seems to be quite fresh. I did notice they say “bottled in USA” but no reference to where the oil itself is actually made. It does have a rich orange color which Sea Buckthorne oil should have, so I am pleased with the quality. It’s a huge 2oz. Glass bottle so it will last along time.Expiration date is 10/2021 as noted on the box it came in. On the bottle it says 2 years from the purchase date. I lip think this is a little misleading, so I am glad that the box actually says the expiration date on it. I received this June 2020, so this will last over 1 year on the shelf. I have been known to keep my oils in the refrigerator, so if you want to keep it around more than say 1.5 years, you might want to store it in the refrigerator. Any oil should be stored in a dark cool place so it does not become rancid. This oil has no indication of rancidity - and I have a very good nose for being able to smell if oils are fresh - this one is fresh!

While this is lighter in color than some other brands I use; it works as well as the others have. It is not smelly and it takes just a small amount to work. It absorbs well when used sparingly.

I love the fact it cleared up a very dry patch of my skin that was so dry it was peeling.
