Stop using the other stuff
I have been doing this type of work for years... I finally found these shrink fits along with the crimp tool.... I have since thrown away all.my other connectors.Seriously, I love that the crimp tool and the heat shrink will consistently result in solid, long term, waterproof connections.I pitched boxes of connectors, because I felt so.much better with these connectors.

Good value, not perfect.
Heat shrink works great with a heat gun, crimps are pretty strong. Unfortunately connecting male and female is rough, one held too tight and had to be damaged to disconnect. Otherwise great, will buy again.

Great product! But cheap case.
This was the first time I used heat shrink connectors. And WOW, why didn’t I not ever do this before. I’ll never go back to those wire nuts.The only problem is the case where it clasps shut either was broke or broke within 15 seconds. Only one of the two are still working. Great product though and I would always recommend using them over wire nuts.

Hi quality connectors
Great price for number and variety of connectors. Provide solid connection and heats easily to create water proof connection. I have never experienced a failure with these connectors.
