Insulated hose
Worked great the hose is thick so getting the hose barbs in was hard but got done and it worked great

Tube worked great, mouth piece not do much.
The insulator for the tube worked very well, when I was in warm weather it kept the water cool and when I was in very cold weather it kept the water from freezing. However the insulator for the mouthpiece did not prevent my water from freezing and I was unable to use it on the last four hours of my Summit Drive up Mount Kilimanjaro. I would definitely recommend a tube insulator but not the mouthpiece insulator

BIG HEAD
THE COVER IS BIG AND AWKWARD. I'VE SEEN SMALLER ONES WITH A BETTER FIT AND EASIER TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY THAT ARE APPARENTLY AVAILABLE AT REI.

It’s OK
You need to buy a separate connector adapter. Which is super annoying. You sell a product that is already an add on but it you can’t use it because it requires an additional add on. I did buy the connector. I used insulator tube for the first time yesterday. The water did come out cold faster but the first sip was still warm. I’m not sure if this was worth the money. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. It does seem to help. But not as much as I hoped.

Your water is still going to freeze in the line.
Well... at 10 degrees Fahrenheit it took all of 20 minutes for the line to freeze solid. This must be for keeping the hot summer sun off of your cool drink.

Low quality tubing
The tubing they used is low quality and very stiff. The ID is too small to fit my hydration equipment. It's also way over priced. Apparently it works only with Osprey hydration equipment. The bite valve insulator might be good to have on a winter trip but if you are looking for hydration tube insulation try something else. This is going back.

Keeps your water from freezing !
Bought this for our son’s hydrapack he uses while skiing. It keeps your water line from freezing. Its fabulous.
