Attractive Panties, Light Cotton, Odd Design Elements
These Marina Threads Womens Cotton Lace Panties in a 4-Assortment color pack look nice, and the Medium size fits me well w/o being constricting or too loose - I'm a US Women's 4-6 and normally wear Medium sizes. the fabric is lightly stretchy and breathable, and the wide elastics at the hips and legs are patterned in a strip that looks like fine netting down the center to look lace-like. The odd thing about these underwear that I have not seen in most underwear being sold nowadays, is the sewn seam down the butt crack. This doesn't make a huge difference in feel to me while wearing them, but it is less smooth than no seam panties. Also, like another review had noted, the panty panel section is strangely short, and stops further down than where you'd normally expect.

Could be more comfortable
A couple things to point out because they're wrong and/or not listed in the description:First, there's no lace on the waistband (or anywhere else) of the boyshorts style. The waistband is exposed elastic. This wasn't an issue for me, but it might be a bit confusing.Second, I was disappointed (after these came) to see the hand washing directions. The undies are not supposed to go in the washing machine or dryer. I consider these to be everyday underwear, not anything that should require special washing instructions. Perhaps it's because they're cotton (95% cotton, 5%% spandex) and can shrink, but in that case it would have made sense to preshrink the fabric. Anyway, I decided they would be machine wash and dry regardless. As for comfort, the fabric is comfortable. But I think the inner panel should extend a bit more towards the front. You can probably tell from the stock photo, the seam is back a bit far, and this makes them less comfortable. Both post-washing, I measured another brand of underwear as having a 6 1/4" panel. The one in these is a mere 4 3/4".On a positive note, I like the fact that the set is all neutrals. But to be happier with these, I'd probably want to get a size or two up to see if that helped with comfort. Even though I'm giving them a mediocre rating, I think they'd possibly be comfier in a larger size to better allow for machine washing and fabric shrinking.

Hand Wash, Too Many Seams
These panties struck me as pretty underwhelming. The look isn't bad, although the lace is really lacy-looking stretchy elastic. But the product page does not say that these have to be HAND WASHED. There is no way I'm going to hand wash my everyday panties, so I put these in the washer with my other underwear. They didn't do very well. Most panties I've ever worn have side seams. These have 3 seams - one on each side and one down the back. I don't like that one down the back and don't see the need for it. Also, the cotton insert at the crotch, which most panties have, is small and not sewn in at the front, only on the back. Given the current price point, these were a disappointment.

Quality At A Bargain Price!
It seems like I can't find good quality, long lasting Womens underwear these days. It's always flimsy, almost never made of cotton, shoddily constructed and never fits right.I usually can't find basic colors I like either. And I don't want "cheeky" undies, thongs or other such nonsense - I want coverage. I also want "invisibility". Now that I've had my rant, I am happy to state that these undies are not the norm! The material is sturdy, not flimsy, and made of all cotton, accept for a small portion of elastic-like material - so they stretch. They are well constructed.Though not "invisible", they are the next best thing to it. Very sleek.I got one size larger than my normal size, because they looked a little small for me. I was right. The strategy of buying one size larger than my normal size worked beautifully. The deep jewel tone colors are gorgeous. I also appreciate the solid colors, not wacky fabric patterns that I find everywhere. I have never found these tones anywhere. And if all of this makes you think these are "old lady pants" - look at the photos. No way! They are sexy while being practical.I have shopped all over, buying from bargain stores to exclusive boutiques. These panties are totally worth your while - they are better quality and selection than any of my current exclusive boutique haunts. And they cost a fraction of the price.I like how easily I can cut out the tags. I hate wearing things with tags. Tags bother me. They even put a tag cutting guide on the tag, so you don't make a mistake and ruin the pants by cutting into them. These Hipsters are great - bikinis don't give me enough coverage and tend to be cut high in the thigh. These cover my hips and everywhere I need coverage. These designers have thought of everything.Enjoy.

Run small and fit a bit weirdly
These Cotton Hipster Panties with Mesh Elastic from Marina Threads run a size small and they fit a bit weirdly on me.They are made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, jersey knit. The care label says to hand wash in cold water with like colors and hang to dry. These panties have seams at the sides and a center back seam. There is fairly wide, mesh elastic at the waist and legs. The crotch has a cotton lining. These panties are OK if you order a size up but they aren't anything special and they fit a bit weirdly on me where the mesh elastic is. You get 4 pairs of panties in the package. My biggest problem is that they are not really worth the ~$8 a pair they are currently priced at. They are comparable to Hanes or Fruit of the Loom panties that cost about half that.
