Great design to protect internal components!
My first 3 e bike batteries were not protected by a metal shell. This design IS protected by a metal shell, so it is very rugged. It got hit with a lot of rain and snow and it suffered no damage internally or externally!

Great battery, but....
The batter is exactly what I was looking for. I have a Sondors (fat tire) bike and this battery works great in it. The only thing is i had to modify the battery cable connector (supplied) and the battery housing. A great battery!
