FICS Car Phone Holder for Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) & GLC (X253) with 10.25” Display – Custom-Fit Mount for Seamless Display Integration, Interior Accessories for Navigation Use

I have a 2019 Mercedes GLC AMG 43. The maximum dimension of the infotainment screen measures 10.25-inches on the diagonal but the viewable screen is only 8.4-inches on the diagonal. These 2-dimensions create immense confusion when phone holder manfactures don't specify whether they are describing the physical hardware or the viewable portion of the screen. Subsequently, I've purchased numerous phone holders that did not fit. This phone holder fits perfect, is well designed, well enginerered, and well manufactured. It has a rubber coating so it won't rattle or scratch your interior and it does not rely on double sided tape that will melt and become a nightmare to remove in the future. The phone holder also places the phone in the perfect position to avoid interference from the gear selection lever and it does not block the view of the infotainment screen or the instrument cluster. Phone height is perfect for glancing at (phone) maps without appreciably taking your eyes off the road. This phone holder literally couldn't be better for anyone with a Mercedes C-class possessing an 8.4" viewable screen. As an aside, the phone holder itself is large enough to hold an iPhone 14plus inside the largest Otterbox (Defender) case you can buy.

I got tired of the air vent phone mount blocking a usable air vent and rattle that came from it. I added a few photos from the driver's POV from a 2018 C43. I'm using a Sony Xperia 1v for reference in the photo. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a more aesthetically pleasing way to mount your phone, android or apple.

Fits perfectly to a 2015 C300 w/8" screen. Tried some other custom fit phone mounts for W205 MB but this one is the only one I tried so far that does not block the front view or the screen. I suppose it could come loose if the car flipped upside down but the phone mount will be the least of your problems if that happens.

I am pleasantly surprised to see how firmly this phone mount wedges itself between the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen in my 2019 GLC 300. No issues so far holding onto my S24 ultra.My phone mount also came with an extender piece meant to fit between the mount and the holder to allow adjustment of the holder's position. The minimum adjustment is over an inch (which is too much) and also pushes the holder an inch further out from the dashboard (and closer to the steering wheel). I'm not using the extender piece as putting the holder directly on the mount positions it very nicely for my driving position.The only thing I didn't like (one star deduction) is the large white FICS logo on the phone holder. It is annoyingly eye catching in my otherwise black interior. I was hoping it would be something I could scrap off. Nope. I have glued a thin black plastic sheet over the back of the phone holder to hide it.UPDATE: With a little more use, I have found that (as others have described) the weight of my S24 Ultra combined with the jiggling of driving does tend to pull the mount out away from the dashboard which lets the phone droop down. I have tried to fix this by applying 3M "Command" velcro picture hanging strips behind the mounting piece. Working well so far...

Fits perfectly between the cluster and center screen. Applies just enough pressure to keep dash from squeaking and puts the phone in a comfortable position.

Looks good but it did not fit my 2016 CLA250.

The custom part of this product (the mount) is perfect for its intended purpose. It fits snugly in my GLC 300 and provides a stable base for securing a phone to the dash. As other reviews have said, the phone holder is generic and not great. But what is great is that the mount has a standard Garmin 19mm ball, so any phone holder that attaches to that type of mount can be used, and there are plenty of great options. I've personally used the iOttie Easy One Touch 4 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076B27WP6), which is excellent but in my opinion a bit too bulky for this particular application, before settling on the Anker Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount (unfortunately no longer sold by Amazon; there are many others such as the Spigen Hexa Magnetic Air Vent mount [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AMGFY5M, just somewhat larger than the Anker], just make sure it has the 19mm ball mount--and if you make a mistake, take advantage of Amazon's generous return policy).The product has been great. It's never slipped, required no holes to be drilled or adhesives to be stuck to my dashboard, and it does its job elegantly and unobtrusively. I'm very, very happy with it and can't recommend it enough.

Provides a secure mount for my iPhone 15 Pro in my 2015 MB C300. Takes a bit of maneuvering to wedge it between the tach bezel and the NAV display, but keep trying—it does fit. Very happy with this purchase.
