Hi, kindly note that the size 36 will fit 35.43”-37.79” waist, and has a 42.51 length. Hope this helps.

I'm also a 34 waist, but ordered a 36, as I thought of wearing thermals underneath in the winter months. There's a good stretch, so I'm sure 34 waist would be good, and no need of any thermals beneath, as these are very warm.
