Perfect for keeping my pens in reach. The first ink cartridge ran out quickly however.

What I like that ink write so smooth.

This is a product for people who need a pen or two that they can attach to a desk where people will use it very gently and patiently.The environment I used these in is not that. As such the assembly and engineering issues were immediately apparent. The actual chain is nice and sturdy, which is nice. However, the pen itself and the fixture attaching it to the surface are lacking.The pen is supposed to screw out at the front, by the tip, to replace the ink. That works fine, the problem is that the rear end of the pen, the part that attaches to the chain, is only actually held into the pen by what seems to be a very small amount of very cheap glue. After limited use pretty much all of these pens will have the bottom come lose, which makes the pen unusable. You can put a touch of super-glue there and press it back in and that fixes the problem, however that will just remind you that you're wasting your time doing that instead of them just using proper adhesive at the factory.The actual attachment point is not terrible but not as robust as I would like. It's just a plastic cup with an adhesive pad underneath. Those are just fine, the problem is that the actual chain is hooked into a very slim piece of metal that sits under the cup and on top of the adhesive pad. I've found that the metal slot is very flimsy, and can be bent easily just by regular use of the pen.Even assuming you don't have these problems then you'll find that the seller doesn't have the actual ink inserts for sale as a separate thing. So once you run out of refills you just have to buy the product again to refill the pens you already have, which in practice is probably fine since they will probably be broken by then anyway.Again, if you're using this in a light use environment and don't mind a bit of gluing, these are probably fine. Go wild. If you've got a customer or employee base that is wont to man handle things, and you don't like gluing things, and you would like to refill these long term without buying the whole product over again, then look elsewhere.

I confess that I did not buy the set for the pen but for the refills. However, up front, the pen set is of quite good quality and excellent value. So the 5 star rating is justified. I had another pen that I liked that used a refill that I could not find anywhere except through special order from China. This pen set uses the same refill but just a few millimeters longer. So I took one of the included refills and cut 4 mm off and it fit my pen perfectly. So now I have extra security pens and a decade of refills for my day-to-day pen.

Great pens and they write well . The only issue is the top could use a drop if adhesive to secure them or the mold be changed to twist and lock the top where the ball chain attaches. I remedied the issue with a drop of super glue . Otherwise no issues and will buy again

The pen itself skips a lot but looks ok. The chain however, and therefore the whole idea of a stay put pen, is cheaply made and comes apart way to easy. I have had it for about two weeks and it has fallen apart and is worthless to me now. And I have all these refills for a pen I can no longer use.I knew I should have bought name brand for this but, thought I might save a little money. Nope l, now I will get a real stay put pen.

Very convenient to use.

Purchased three. Within a month the chains on two have broken free from their adhesive mount. Will not buy this product again.
