Delicious sardines
I eat canned sardines probably 4-5 times a week and I've tried maybe a dozen brands at this point. Generally I prefer sardines packed in oil, and there aren't any brands I can think of that are downright bad. But for me this brand is the best so far, hands down. Beautiful texture, a bit on the firm side, meaty and not at all mushy. Perfect salinity level. Clean and not especially "fishy" tasting. You get around four slightly larger sardines per can. (I think bigger ones are better; but I suspect that's subjective.)I ordered the version with chiles in the can but received the plain ones, so I can't comment on the spice level. Still five stars, however, as these are really great.Definitely recommended if you're a fan of sardines!

Excellent Canned Sardines
Sardines remind me of growing up as a child, opening a tin and eating those little tightly packed sardines. As an adult I've become fond of their bigger - and better, brothers. For several years I've eaten Matiz Spanish Wild Sardines, and they're big and meaty. Reading some of the reviews online for other brands is how I decided to try the Angelo Parodi brand. I like them better than the Matiz. To me a little olive oil goes a long way with canned sardines, but taste varies. The Matiz are in more olive oil and the sardines definitely have a stronger taste than the Angelo Parodi. It may be Parodi uses a better grade of olive oil, but the sardine taste is milder but still very flavorful. Both brands are very good, but I prefer the Angelo Parodi.

Salty!
I love the flavor of the sardines, but they were a tad too salty for my liking. I won't purchase again.

Great tasting and health sardines
I love sardines and these are the best I have ever eaten. They are big, meaty and are boneless and skinless!

Didn't get what's in the picture.
These are boxed plain cans instead of the printed-can style. I wouldn't think there would be any significant difference, but the ones I received are quite bland and watery. They just seem to lack salt and use a lower grade of olive oil than the printed cans, despite being quite nice, clean, silvery fish.Kind of wish I hadn't bought a 10 pack, because when put up against the spicy Nuris I eat most of the time, they lose, badly, and it's not just the lack of spice. The printed AP cans I polished off over the past couple months held their own perfectly when I didn't feel like going spicy. These are disappointing.
