Bloom Into You (Light Novel): Regarding Saeki Sayaka Vol. 2

Saeki is the perfect character to be set in a light novel rather than the manga. Knowing her from the manga you can tell that her thoughts are complex enough to warrant the novel treatment, and the author draws you along well with her thinking. As another review said, it's almost easier to read than the first, but in a way that reflects Saeki's growth as a person from the immature elementary student to the composed young woman she grows to be. Nothing about the book feels out of character for her from what you learn of her in the manga, and since she wasnt the main focus of the Bloom manga but it was easy to view her almost as one, it's good to get resolution for her that's more than a few panels in another book. I look forward to the third!

Sayaka is the most relatable person and being lesbian is so hard 😭😭

Enjoyed this volume a lot, if not more than the first volume. The writing flows better, and we get in-depth into Sayaka's psyche. Nostalgia runs quite deep with this one. There are parallels as well as spoilers for the main manga storyline Bloom into you. I can't wait to read the 3rd volume, and would love to see Sayaka happy and fulfilled.

I love this series & reading how it all happen makes me so happy! I'm super happy that we got this series explaining what happen to Sayaka. It's definitely a must read!

Was excited to receive this in the mail but its not usable due to the mystery goo substance thats all over it.

Probably don’t read these if you’re not familiar with the original story by Nakatani Nio, but it’s great to get the view from inside a character I became more and more fond of with each re-reading of Yagte Kimi ni Naru (Bloom Into You). The translation is mostly pretty decent, although there is an English grammatical error that occurs twice, which Saeki Sayaka would never have made. A low-key, subtle, insightful story, this.

Great book the only thing that let it down was the packaging being beaten up and tape on the book

Le personnage de Sayaka prend une dimension pleine, sortant finalement de l’ombre de Touko (au fil des trois tomes). Petites pointes d’humour sympathiques.Les personnages sont réalistes, attachants. L’histoire complète est mignonne et touchante.À lire, pour celles et ceux qui connaissent le manga initial.

Hermosamente escrito, siempre tuve curiosidad por conocer cómo habría sido todo desde la perspectiva de Sayaka; es una delicia ver la atención que se puso a cada detalle del maga y del anime y como están reflejados en esta novela.
