Charlie Morphs Into a Mammoth (Charlie Changes Into a Chicken)

This author is absolutely amazing. Love him!!! Highly recommend his books

Having loved the first few books in the series I couldn't wait to start reading Charlie Morphs Into A Mammoth. The story follows Charlie who, having now controlled his abilities to change, is using his special abilities to benefit his life with his new adventure being working out where all the animals are being taken.I love how this book centres around a fun mystery but also has a more serious theme within regarding parents splitting up. This allows us to see a new side to Charlie and get to see how much he has grown as he manages to cope with his feelings and still be there for his friends.As with all the books the characters are fantastic and it's lovely to see how they're always there for Charlie. I like how we got to see more of Dylan in this book and with a great journey that we see him and Charlie go on. This is great to show children that sometimes others just need a friend and touches on bullying in an understandable way for children.The illustrations in this book are brilliant with lots more animal pictures and funny things Charlie's group get up to. They are what really add to the book and work perfectly with the hilarity of the writing.This is another amazing story that is very funny and definitely a must read. I would have liked more footnotes in this story but it's hilarious regardless. I can't wait to see what the author writes next!

Well, book 3 did not disappoint! Me and my 7 year old have absolutely loved these books and agree that this is the best one yet. Absolutely hilarious with real laugh out loud bits for the kids and parents alike. The story is wonderful with how it so brilliantly deals with a whole range of different emotions and difficult situations in a way that children can understand, and helps give them the right tools to process them in a healthy way. I really can't recommend this books enough and we can't wait to see what comes next.I asked my son what he'd rate it out of ten and he gave it a full ten but with a caveat that if Sam Copeland doesn't write any more books he will downgrade him to an 8/10 haha!

Our kids have literally been counting down for the release of this book! It is a very fitting third part to the Charlie series and they have already been asking when the next one will appear. It’s full of the same tongue in cheek hilarity as the other books but still retains the big issue topics that really impact so many kids’ well-being. Is there a mammoth though? You will have to read it yourself to find out! Finley (9) says it’s “his favourite series of books” and Mollie (6) “laughed until she needed the toilet”- High praise indeed! Buy the whole trilogy as soon as you can.

My kids *love* this series. We have all 3books and they keep asking if there are any more coming out. My kids range from 7 - 12 years and they all love listening to /reading it. I enjoyed it too.

My daughter loves these books. She normally like David Walliams & Tom Fletcher but prefers these as they are funnier & more magical.
