Scotch-Brite Bristle Discs - 3m s/b 4.5x5/8-11 grade120048011-24243

I bought this as alternative grit for cleaning up gasket surface. The yellow disc worked fine for that task so did not use this one. Recently had chance to try this disc for a little paint removal, to clean off thick blobs that did not come off readily with sandblasting. It did a fine job of sanding the steel clean, using a very light touch. An interesting effect is that airflow through the posts creates a suction effect that pulls the disc to the work surface.

Man, these things work great. They take off paint, rust, and gunk fantasticallly! As long as you're careful about edges, they last a good amount of time. Worth it IMHO.

The product was what I was expecting however, the description listed a case of 10. The quantity was 1 - 4 1/2 inch disc.

I expected a green (50 grit) wheel. Received a white (120 grit) wheel. Was worried it would not perform. Used it anyhow and it took care of business! Very pleased.

Great value.

I bought this disk due to the 3m quality , however this product is expensive and useless, sanded my truck bed and got about 1/3 of the way done before it was wasted, went back to da sander
