I would have given this a 5 star rating except for the fact that there are some inconsistencies in fitting pieces. I had a couple that just would NOT fit together. If I swapped out one for another of the same size/shape, it worked. At the same time, the one that would not fit would fit in another similar place.I was greatly impressed at the internal structural arrangement. Most of these buildings are hollow with you only building the outer shell. That means that, in most cases, something has to be place inside to support such as upper levels (as was needed twice in this kit). Most of the time, that "support" is a spindly column that you have to connect at least 2 (if not more) pieces of the flat next level. The structure of this kit was very strong and sturdy and therefore well supported the main building area and then the domes on the top.As is usual with these kits, the piece count is NOT the number of pieces needed to build the kit. In most cases, it is approximately the total number of pieces included in the kit, including the special removal tool and the company identifier piece (no place to put it on this kit). In this case, the total number of pieces needed to complete the structure is 3687 (if I counted right for my spreadsheet), not 3950. That means there should be 263 extra pieces and that looks about right (I haven't counted all the extras yet).Some of the pieces are very very small. Some are also very tight and difficult to connect. A child might be able to handle the small pieces easier but may not have the strength to put them together. Some steps have a large number of very small pieces. One step alone had 96 of one shape, 80 of another and 16 of a third -- all in white! Two of the three shapes were very small to hold to connect together. Note - fingernails help!Some instructions were a little out of place. In the case of the 4 smaller domes; it was easier to make the domes, place the 8 columns below them and then place that sub-assembly onto the structure. It was a lot easier to connect to 8 single positions than to place 4 groups of 4. The wider the span to connect to, the harder to get it to work right.I also worked slightly ahead to put the tops on the walls of the big dome - they weren't stable. The "angled" walls were only connected at the bottom at one point and connecting them in pairs with the flat-topped piece stabilized them.For the same reason as mentioned with the small domes, I put the first two layers (step 1) of the big dome together and then put it on the walls and built up from there. It would have been almost impossible to put that dome on!It's a kit. It's YOUR kit. Modify the instructions as you need to build it the easiest for you. You really can't do it wrong. Enjoy!

Could be an excellent display item if a couple of the pieces fit properly. Gray rectangular pieces shift and do not stay straight. White cylindrical pieces are loose. Since most of the time they are for support, this is a problem.

I haven’t assembled this yet but the instructions look good - pretty clearly done. The pieces are very small and a couple of the bags were partially open with a few pieces having fallen out so I hope I found them all.

I absolutely loved building this project. It was well thought out & wellproduced. I have built several of the harder projects but this one gave me much satisfaction.

This is super flimsy, EXTREMELY hard to assemble since some of the parts are falling apart as you are working on other sections of the building. We were missing parts as well. The seller ended up shipping them to us separately but, nevertheless, we could not finish it as it was super frustrating. The directions are horrible, very hard to follow so you end up guessing a lot. I do not recommend this at all. If there was an option for 0 stars I would have given it.

Bought a new but damaged box set. Done this several times with no issues but this one came missing at least 2/3 of the blocks for the set.
