7 oz Slim Thermos Flask - Leak-Proof Insulated Water Bottle - Perfect Compact Size - Taffy Pink

Everyone said it's practically impossible to find any water bottle that fits inside the kanken mini backpack since the side pockets are so small-but this Mira 7oz does! It's narrow enough to slide into the pocket AND short enough that it doesn't flop out of the pocket. Sure its only 7oz but it serves its purpose of being able to carry a little water for taking pills or hydrating enough to get to your next stop on your adventures :)I also love the quality of Mira products and have many of their water bottles in various sizes. I'm confident in their ability to keep drinks cold!

Keep in mind, this is SMALL. I got the 10 oz so it fits a larger-ish cup of coffee. I use it to bring my "second cup of espresso" to work everyday to keep me from spending tons of money at the coffee shop. It is so perfect! I fill it up with hot water when I wake up and pour it out just before I brew my espresso in it. This is about 7am. I drink the coffee around 2pm and it is still hot. I love it! Super compact, super cute and very easy to clean. I have one of those sponges on an extender, or I just put really hot soapy water and shake it like hell. Has an extra ring that goes in to make sipping straight from the container more comfortable.

I needed a leakproof thermos for a small amount of milk to give my daughter for daycare either to drink or for her cereal. This is PERFECT. It doesn’t leak and it’s a great size. Fits right into her backpack. Super easy to clean too.

Nicely insulated and the perfect size for what I needed. My only caveat: it comes with a white plastic gasket/liner of sorts that sits at the top of the bottle but is removable. For sure, if you have a kid use this bottle, that thing will get lost. I'm guessing it is so you don't have to risk your teeth/mouth touching the metal opening, but that is just a guess. The good news is, I tried using it both with and without that gasket and as long as you don't overfill the bottle, it doesn't leak either way. Important: DO NOT OVERFILL and by that I mean keep the liquid below the threads at all. Anything over the threads and it WILL leak.

This container was small and very pretty in color.

This little thermos is amazing. It keeps my tea piping hot for at least 4 hours. I absolutely love it and recommend it.

I bought two mini thermoses for my children’s lunches in the hopes to reduce the amount of waste at school and not worry about broken glass from other types of bottles. I can honestly only give these three stars, despite really wanting to give more.First the pros:These are the perfect SIZE for younger kids and tweens! I can buy large bottle of juice and fill these easily enough even without a funnel. They fit well in their lunch boxes, still giving ample space for the food. The colors are exactly as indicated on the store and my kids loved the colors.And now the cons:There are three components to keep track of: thermos, lid and inner plastic gasket. This is at least 1 component too many for kids.The inner plastic gasket has a silicone ring attached to it (presumably a failsafe for leaks?). While the ring stays on the gasket, the gasket does not stay in place in the thermos. One of my kids has twice gotten in trouble with the lunch monitors when they had to chase the plastic gasket across the room. On a couple other occasions the inner gasket stuck in the lid, getting slightly skewed, causing the lid to not seal properly, even though it looks closed all the way, causing leakage of any leftover fluid in the thermos. It’s hard enough to get young kids to close a thermos fully, now my 10 year old simply won’t open the thermos because of the lunch nazis and leaking issues.The silicon gasket on the main lid doesn’t always seal properly allowing fluids get under the ring. 4 hours of unrinsed hot cocoa residue caused the thermos and lid to smell so rancid it almost makes me want to hurl. On one of these thermoses, this silicon ring wasn’t fully installed properly and stretched out just a little more than the other. This silicone is supposed to sit in the groove on the thermos to seal and prevent leaks. If you fill the thermos just under that groove it seems to work great with cold, but with hot liquids you don’t want the hot fluid to come anywhere near that groove or the heat may distort the silicone making it a hot mess.Finally, cleaning is a nightmare. I have to use a bottle brush to clean these, and more often than not I walk away from the sink wearing soap suds. The bottle brush I use (only about 2” diameter) for cleaning my Camelbak hydration bladders actually slides in perfectly, but because of the geometry of the thermos it doesn’t slide out easily, splattering soap suds all over the place.In conclusion, I recommend these only for mature and responsible tween/teens and not for younger kids.

All in all, perfect for us! Needed a new thermos for my son’s milk for lunchtime after the water bottle type we used previously broke. He just turned 7 and can open & securely close it on his own. Inner ring pops out for thorough cleaning, and I’ve put all 3 pieces in the dishwasher without an issues so far. 3 weeks in and he already dented the bottom but no effect on function, and dents are almost expected with this kid;) The size is great, fits easily in his lunchbox next to his Bentgo box and holds enough but not too much. If he doesn’t drink it all, it’s still cold when he gets home from school and can go back in the fridge for dinner or the next day! Very pleased overall, will likely buy one for my daughter next school year!

Product makes a noise when shaken. Appears something is loose inside the thermos. Would like to return as not satisfied
