no bubbles, but patience required
I’ve been using Naked Fusion’s 1:1 epoxy for almost a year now and still can’t say enough about their quality and dedicated customer service. The clarity and heat stability far exceeds other well-known brands I have tried. I also can only use zero VOCs resins in my indoor studio. So of course, I had no reason to try anything else for my deep pours. This is even easier to use than regular 1:1 resins, though there are some downsides. The major one is that you’re gonna want to wait three days minimum before even hoping it’s safe to demold. It also has a fair amount of shrinkage. This is annoying because you need to top off your pours and it is very visible where the line of the first pour was if the area is clear. Deep pour resins also discolor many of my organic inclusions; due to the slow cure rate, particularly delicate flowers seem to dissolve a bit and end up looking like wet tissue paper. Better results can be achieved by pre-coating colorful flowers with regular 1:1 epoxy or another dried flower sealant. While it boasts no VOCs I still break out the gas mask as it does have a fairly significant odor.Overall, any cons can be chalked up to the nature of deep pouring in general and I highly recommend trying it wherever casts reach over 1-2” for a bubble-free piece.

Awesome for Casting and So Crystal Clear
I am an experienced resin artist and have been using Naked Fusion's Artist Resin for many of my are projects. I have done resin art and small layer casting, but I have not had experience with deep pours or deep casting objects. I wanted to try deep pour in a pyramid sand see if I could pour the full depth of the pyramid in one pour so it would be quicker than pouring in layers. It worked great! I poured 2 clear pyramids with no pigment. Each in one pour only and there was no smell which made me happy. It was easy to stir and easy to pour. It took some adjusting to get used to the curing time because it took longer to cure, but it came out so clear it was worth the time. I had to be patient and wait to demold. Itdefinitely tasks longer to cure but the clarity is amazing and I did not have to pour several layers. Just pour and let it be. One pyramid I added some ice crystals and the other one I tried to pour just clear un-tinted resign. I did torch a little when I first poured. I had no issues with bubbles because they released while the pyramids were curing. There were a couple of scratches in my mold that showed in the pyramid which I will sand out but they really came out beautifully! The clarity of this resin is amazing! I am looking forward to exploring some larger molds and projects with this deep pour resin. I will play with some pigments too. It is so much fun and forgiving for beginners. The one thing I would recommend to others trying this resin is to be patient with your demold time and you will get great results! I highly recommend trying it,. I was really i,pressed!

Excellent Resin
I liked this deep pour resin from Naked Fusion. I poured a large egg mold 3 1/2 inches deep and had no issues with flash curing. It did take longer to cure, which is normal for deep pour resins. I had no bubbles. I am happy with it and will purchase again. Don't judge the attached picure lol. I added to much pink and am still perfecting my flower/resin techingue :) I also poured a matte heart mold that was only about 1 1/2 inches, that turned out nicely. It was from a mold I made of my solid crystal heart. Its beautiful & the deep pour worked flawlessly.

Pros and cons
I did not use this resin for a deep pour. I know that it says deep pour on the bottle but my purpose this time (beach wave coasters) did not require more than a few thin layers and I already had this resin on hand. It has both pros and cons in my opinion, and I suggest using as deep pour only and use a different brand for thin coat applications.PROS:most all of the bubbles went away on their own. Within a couple minutes of mixing part A and part B, which was a 2 to 1 ratio, very few bubbles remained. After using the mini torch and allowing to dry, I was pretty happy with the nearly perfect glossy finish, which can be hard to achieve. This resin is less sticky than others I have worked with. The stickiness of resin can be really annoying, even when using gloves, and this one was easier to clean up drips in my opinion.CONS:Took way longer to dry than any other resin brand I have used. Most are dry to the touch between 12 and 24 hrs to gently handle or add another coat, and won’t leave fingerprints after 48 hrs or so. This resin dried SLOWLY for 3 days at least. I wasn’t sure if it was going to cure right, but it finally did. I would use only for deep pours for this reason. This resin was super runny. I did not like how runny it was and will run right off the edge of something (like a coaster). Maybe this helps release the bubbles during deep pours…?Does not make a good beach wave. Probably due to the runnier consistency. I did all of my usual steps to make a lovely little beach wave and after blowing it out with the heat gun, I was thinking it had made a success wave with good lacing. After a few minutes, I watched in sadness as my lovely wave smeared and smudged into something that more resembled a cloud than a frothy ocean wave.If you are looking for a good multi use resin that does it all… deep pours or thin coats, this is not the one! I gave it 4 stars because I did not use as a deep pour as the manufacturer intended and I didn’t want to hold that against it. I used it for thin coat applications, but both the pros and cons are things that probably help with getting a good result when doing a deep pour.
