Hasbro Games Scrabble Twist

I had purchased this game for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. I was looking for a game to play without a bunch of small pieces that could get accidentally left out as I also have an infant son. This game is exactly what I was looking for. Everything is all one piece. The volume is adjustable. It usually stays on silent in this house so I can play against my daughter while the baby is trying to sleep on my lap. It's really nice that I can play a game with her and still tend to my son.There are different levels so even my 2nd grader can come up with many words. The goal is to come up with words that are 3-5 letters long in a certain time frame. There is also a solo mode, so my daughter can play on her own.This game makes learning words and practicing spelling fun! It also stimulates the good Ole noggin. It's great for travel and helps pass long car rides. I am so glad I purchased Scrabble Twist.

What a fun game. I am a word game lover. I played Scrabble with my mom as a kid, but my husband refuses to play now. He says he has no chance of winning. I have been teaching my daughter to play, and she is becoming quite good. This brings the game to a new level, and we are enjoying competing for highest score. We tend to just play in solo mode, but I love that I can play a quick game when I have just a few minutes. I can even play it in the car on long drives and turn off the sound so I don't disturb the other passengers. It is easy to use and takes very little time to learn how to play. Even taking turns goes so quickly, that it seems to be a game you can play for hours. With the dynamics of the game, you never know what your score will be from one game to the next. My only problem is remembering which words I have already used.

I love this little scrabble game. The five lights on the front light up with five letters and you have to try to build as many words as you can as quickly as you can. It has multi-player mode, and single player. It's great for the car because it's quieter than a video game and I feel a bit better about it cause the kids are at least practicing spelling right?? Well, I actually ended up buying two of these one for us, and one to give as a gift to a little girl who had to be on bed rest for a bit. It's a great toy when you're not able to really do much like in the car or in bed. It's also highly addictive. My daughter (12yo) will start playing and end up playing it for a long time. When you choose a word game over an ipod I'd call that a win! We make sure we take it with us anytime we're going to be in the car for awhile. It's great to help pass the time.

This game is pretty cool but you can only spell up to a five letter word. Two letter words aren't acceptable. It takes three AA batteries. It has adjustable volume and levels of skill. There's group play as well.

I got this Scrabble twist game because I LOVE word games. Let me tell you, this thing can keep me entertained for hours. There is a solo mode, a party mode, and a turbo mode. Solo mode is self explanatory, play by yourself, find as many words as you can in the five letters they give you. Type in a word, twist the side, it's registered in your word bank as an answer.Turbo mode is with 2 players, each taking turns seeing who can get the most points from finding words.Party is with multiple players 2 or more and you take turns finding words and passing the unit until someone can't find a word, then they are out and play resumes to the next player.You can adjust the volume from no volume at all to higest volume, and you can change the difficulty of the game as well.This is great HASBRO!

As a reading specialist, I would play this exact game using pencil and paper in my reading centers. This device is AWESOME! Bought it for my son who struggles with reading and he loves it!!! Quantity was very limited and I paid the cost of the device in shipping, but it was worth it.

This isnt really scrabble so much as word scramble. I like the buttons and the twisting mechanism, but wish there was some way the game would tell you what you missed or if you made all the combos, it just runs down the time and gives you a score. Did making 5 different words from that letter combo mean I did good or were there fifteen combos and I missed 10? Wish I knew. My toddler however loves the buttons and hitting the letters and hearing the sounds. So its a good 10 minute distraction. So there's that.

It's a fun game. We got it for traveling this summer, one reason, it is small and compact and no pieces to lose at all. We got it at Christmas time so we have only used it a couple times to check it out. Our main purpose is for vacations this summer, so its packed away so it will feel like a new game to every one when hit the road. Playing something educational on the road trips this year instead of phones, tablets, movies. Now every one can interact with each other, make memories with each other which all the mentioned above do take away. I think anything that brings people together laughing or just having fun together is great now a days Happy I bought it and looking forward to using it with the family this year.

From adults to 10 years old, this is really a lot of fun and have a lot of staying power to continue to be fun. Almost a year since we bought it, we are still enjoying this games. We are into out third set of batteries on this game is how much we played it.

This was an amazing gift! I bought and both my friends kids loved it!

Very good and addicting. The kids & I love this toy. One issue I've found with it is sometimes the high score doesn't save. Amazing quality and hours of fun!
