Ruby Reef Rally Pro (16 oz)

I am giving it 4 stars because the description really should include that corals will not be happy when u use this. It works well on getting rid of the velvet, but I think it might be killing my duncan. If u buy this, realize u might lose a few coral.

This cured my clown fish and no other fish affected by Ich. Coral are happy and colorful. You have to dose it correctly by volume of water in tank not gallons your tank can hold. Not sure why people say hurt corals because I’ve been using for 2 weeks at higher dosing and see no problems.

Two of my fish died during the treatment. I’ll never recommend this product

Ok first off I can say. This product has worked in my tank along with kick ich combined together. It is hard to tell the difference between some of these diseases. But there are a few extra step I did. I recently bought some fish from a local store. Within a few days I lost my solernis wrasse, coral beuaty, and lietantent tang. Enough was enough. I wasnt sure if it was ich or flukes or both so bought this along with kick ich. I had a powder blue tang infected along with my hippo tang. Both covered in slime and dots. I have a 200 gallon 750 G2 red sea tank. Its pretty large and rock everywhere. Trying to get all my fish out is pretty much not going to happen so I treated the entire tank. I did manage to catch my tang who had stopped eating and was breathing pretty heavy. I did a fresh water dip on him first. I believe this helped out the most because stuff just fell off of him in the dip. White stuff everywhere. I then did the same to the blue hippo. Both had a 3 minute dip along with kick ich and rally. Both of the fish were doing very very bad. After dip and treatment next morning fish were 100% better. Spots down to a few. They were swimming around and finally eating again. I honestly did not have much hope for this product but that and the fresh water dip worked together great and managed to actually clear the fish. I am on day 3 of treatment fish are doing well. Make sure you turn off your skimmer and remove any charcoal or it will negate the effects of this product. Also a freshwater dip make sure your temp is the same and your PH is the same. DO NOT DO A FW DIP WITH WITH DIFFERENT PH WITH WHAT IS IN TANK FISH WILL DIE. TAKE BAKING SODA AND START OFF WITH A SPOONFULL AT A TIME TO RAISE PH AND MEASURE YOUR PH DEPENDING ON YOUR AMOUNT OF WATER BAKING SODA WILL VARY. LET SIT FOR 10MINS CHECK PH THEN DO THE DIP FOR 3-4 MINS. FOLLOW BY KICK ICH THEN RALLY. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY. GOOD LUCK

Unfortunately this product does not work in the display tank as stated nor is it reef safe. Honestly if your looking to treat any of your fish look else where. I have a 150g mixed reef and unfortunately brought in a pair of fish that had velvet, I treated per bottle instructions with no positive outcome. I lost nearly 500 dollars worth of Coral and lost about 500 in fish. NEVER AGAIN if it says it’s reef safe it’s not...
