I was looking for some kind of auxiliary lighting for my home video studio. I thought it would be nice to work in dimmer lighting, and be able to control the lighting. I used a dimmable desk lamp until now. I discovered these! The LED light strip is about 19 feet long which provides for an excellent run...you can actually cut these to fit your needs! They respond to music (more on that later) and they use a regular 120v plug. They come with 3m adhesive on the back and clips to secure the light strip anywhere you like!! I know we've all seen the $5 light strips at the discount stores and think.."why buy that when I can buy this for $5"?? Well...because they're NOT THE SAME. First, you get a much longer run, it's trimmable, it responds to sound, it has a functional remote, it has an app, it uses 3M tape, it has clips, it's got a regular plug, it's MUCH MUCH BRIGHTER!So, what did I do with mine? I ran my LED light strip under my HUTCH, and around the back of both my video monitors then under a shelf. After that long run, I still had leftover!!! What does it do for me? If I need extra light for working on bills, invoices etc...I just set it to white light. Now...this is BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT.....brighter than any lamp because it's not centralized. This BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT RUNS THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF MY DESK...so there are NO dark spots. It also provides light for my keyboards. If I need some extra lighting on my keyboards, I can use a softer bluer light which does not affect the way I see the video or photo I'm working on. When I'm done with a video or photo montage, and I want some pizzaz, I use the sound mode which rhythmically pulses the lights to the beat. I also use this to give video productions a little more presence while being auditioned by the client!! Every client that has experienced this, so far, thought it was very cool. There is no doubt in my mind that it also enhances their willingness to react favorably to what they see on the monitors. Thats how I installed mine.There is a plethora of opportunities on how to use these....around a closed in patio (keep them dry), Under a kitchen counter providing bright light for working, and mood lighting for the kitchen...behind your big screen TV to watch movies...perhaps as Holiday lighting....Just so many applications possible!! look...JUST GET THESE...AND LET YOUR MIND GET CREATIVE!

The media could not be loaded.  We got this led light strip on Amazon.Setup was easy, including plugging in, getting the remote to work.The app was easy to find and easy to connect via Bluetooth (my device was Android).I was very impressed with the quality of the lights as well as all the options of a world of colors and being able to adjust the brightness.The app has the options of:Manual AdjustmentStylesChange with music from your deviceChange from your voiceSet a schedule for the light showTo me this is a lot of light strip (length wise) for the price.I do wish they had an outdoor version of this so I can use it around the pool.

These lights worked perfectly and fit the need I had for them exactly. They have gret brightness and color choices as well as being ribbon thin which made working with corners a breeze! While not a normal option that I would use the sound reaction option was fun to play with while setting up. The phone app worked easily with no issue and had many controls to get things just as you'd like or you can just use the included remote. Will probably add more to daisy chain. Highly recommend!

20ft Led Strip Lights Sync to Music Color Changing RGB Led Lights for Bedroom Room Decoration Flexible Led Strips DIY Kit with UL Certified Power Supply Built-in Mic... the color is awesome. However, the remote requires you to be extremely close to the product instead if controlling it from the bed or couch. Then the remote sometimes need you to push the command several times. The adhesive works for most if it but a few areas unstick. For the price... we don't hate it, but we would have loved for it to work as it stated it would.

We purchased these lights to install in our basement for music and color changing effect. Simple to use the remote and app using Bluetooth. This is not a long roll but it is sufficient enough to take a boring black television set that is mounted to the concrete wall light it up with this set. I also purchased a led connector set that provided more L shaped and the T shaped connectors to make a clean installation with this strip roll so it didn’t look sloppy and wavy in certain locations. They cut easily and have plenty of connection metal at the cut marks for using additional connectors.

This product is so easy to install and work with. The remote is easy to operate, we are still working with the app but I know it will be fabulous also. This is definitely a great product. All the colors are beautiful and vivid. In a dark room it is very dramatic, and in a lighted room it is still very visible. Perfect addition to any interior lighting.

Worked out perfectly for my application. Decided not use the defusers to get a bit more light. They seem to have adhered well and haven't had issues either coming loose. The remote and the phone app come in handy! Only issue is that my TV remote also turns the lights on when we turn the volume up or down on our sound bar since it works on bluetooth as well. Weird but no big deal.

The lights do not work! one of the four prong connectors has an additional thick coating around it, that's not allowng the full connection. I have to position, and wiggle the connector to get lighting. I even tried good ole DUCK TAP-DIDNT WORK! I removed the excess coating with wire cutters and it still refused to connect with lights staying on.. I will be returning this product! My daughter was so EAGER to receive LED lights, now SHE AND I ARE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
