A great watch that does exactly what I wanted
I really just got the watch for running and for tracking with GPS. I have had the watch for 3 months now and it works perfectly for me. I charge it about once every two weeks and it doesn't drop below 50% battery with an average of 20 miles GPS runs per week. I wear it constantly and find it easy to use. It is helpful also with keeping track of heart rate which is something I haven't done before. I do notice that the heart rate seems a little unaccurate at time when I sweat a lot or its cold, but overall nice. I guess the moisture messes with the sensor. The app could use some work, but it synchronizes with Strava nicely. I found the GPS to be very accurate in my area which is the main reason why I got the watch. I haven't been to an area where it has not been able to track. Overall this is the best watch for $120. I highly recommend this product!Edit: April 26, 2024After a little more than two years of using this watch everyday the battery life has begun to decay. About a month ago it started to lose its charge faster and faster. Now it lasts about three days before getting down to 30% charge. But, I am happy with it for working extremely well for over 2 years, especially since my mileage has increased to around 30-45 miles a week.Since, I've had this watch I've used it to train and run in two marathons, many half-marathons, and many many 10 and 5ks. I mostly just run with it outside, but have used it sometimes on the treadmill. I just recently started to upload my own training workouts under the "coaching" menu. For the most part it is nice, but it would be nice if the app could show the running paces for workouts and not just time and heart rates, like it does for normal outdoor runs. But, it uploads to strava the same and I can view the data there. It has kept up with me for weeks until recently. I am still using going to use this for a little longer and just deal with charging it every couple of days and before big races. I would be happy to get another one later, especially if the price remains the same.

Good value as a fitness watch.
4 to 5 stars not based on that it is up there with top of the line fitness watches (it is not) but for what you get for the price, as a fitness watch, not as a full on outdoor watch.Fits well on the wrist and a nice band.Connects quickly to app which seems to give (the app) a lot of info but I am no expert about apps to compare with.Gets a GPS signal within 5-10 seconds to start a workout.Good choice of watchfaces in the app although even some more variations would be good.I think it is 50m water resist, have seen various conflicting reports about that, i.e. is it 30 or 50 ? I think is 50m.Hardly really an "ironman" watch at only 50m but adequate for me.Battery life very good.I like seeing in the app the percentage of how many users you are in front of or behind for steps.Screen fine to read in better light but as some users have said it can at times be dull but still readable, bit of a tradeoff for battery life I suppose.Steps and heart rate seems reasonably close to being accurate so far.Overall am happy with the watch.

Terrible User Interface
What I don't like- The watch face is in dim, poorly contrasting colors which are hard to see. It makes me feel like I'm color blind and I have to turn on the back light in order to read the watch. I've called their tech support and they put in a request for me for new "faces" that would take care of it, but who knows when that might happen?- It takes at at least 7 clicks to get to the stop watch function and back to the main screen.- You can't see previous day's steps on the watch. You can only see them in the phone app.- You can only track heart rate history through work outs. If you don't use work outs, then you can't track your heart rate.- Tech support had to keep going back to the experts to answer my support questions. They had little direct knowledge of the product. When I asked what was the design mechanism for tracking steps when GPS is off, the support person had to go ask and came back with "it's some sort of pedometer". That was a non answer.- The users manual does not come with the product. You have to download it as a PDF. It's very sparse, not well illustrated, and difficult to make sense of. I had to end up calling tech support, just to get the watch working. It doesn't work out of the box. It doesn't even do local functions until you connect to the internet via bluetooth and download the operating system.- There are many more terrible things about the user interface - too many to describeWhat I do like- I love that the watch keeps my daily steps. I've used pedometers all my waking hours for 25 years and they always break down, especially when I sweat in work outs. Now, I've finally stopped using pedometers.- I've tested the accuracy of the step counts a couple times and it seems to be on target- I love having a step counter that I don't have to wear separately that chafes my skin, dies when it gets wet, or is dropped, etc.- I like that it tracks my sleep patterns and even gives deep sleep, light sleep, and awake in bed figures, although I don't trust them fully.- I like how seamlessly it connects to the phone app and automatically uploads from the watch to the app- I like how when it connects, it automatically downloads the latest operating system updates

Super fast GPS connection and excellent battery life.
This watch satisfies all my needs. The screen is easy to read in all light conditions. The GPS connects in a matter of seconds. Battery life is amazing. It tracks my cycling and cross-country skiing activities very precisely and exports them to Strava. After several weeks of use I experienced a problem with the watch not syncing to my Motorola cell phone. This problem was successfully resolved by Timex customer support and has not reoccurred.

Simple, accurate and reliable
Great entry-level GPS watch, syncs flawlessly with Strava (no G**min outages ;) )GPS is very accurate. Wish the screen had a nicer display but for the money you really can't go wrong. Well recommended.
