I have to honestly say that my decision to purchase Air Zuker LED candles as opposed to others, have been highly influenced by positive product community feedback. Looking at various LED candle sets including Luminara, and reading all the reviews of people that received a product that's either a knock off or simply of dubious quality, I simply didn't feel like playing a lottery and hoping to get the merchandise I paid for. In the end I've decided to go with a proven quality product from a company that sells direct and stands behind their product if needed. Air Zuker delivered on all fronts. Not only the candles I've received are exactly what I paid for, but a minor issue I've experienced with one out of the three sets I've ordered, has been answered by the company's customer support on New Year's Day and promptly resolved in a way that exceeded my expectations. I've rarely had a pleasure to deal with customer support that strives so hard to make every purchase a great and positive experience. From personal experience I'd say that what differentiates Air Zuker from many others is that they're there when you need them, in my case even during a major holiday.I won't go into product features which have been posted multiple times, instead I'll just say that in my opinion the candles themselves are of high quality with great product uniformity across multiple sets. The diameter of each candle is exactly 3 1/8". The outer wax shell measuring at 5/16", is thicker than some other comparable LED candles I've had, and adds to the overal quality of the product. I think that it's also less likely to experience any cracks in wax surface due to its thickness.Also worth of mentioning is the fact that unlike many other comparable products that come encased in a plastic clamshell, Air Zuker candles come encased in styrofoam which provides far superior protection from potential damage in transit.Candles work great with rechargeable AAA batteries, which will help to offset the utilization cost. I'm yet to see how long those will last per charge, but so far I like the fact that there is no discernible difference in hue between sets or individual candles, regardless of type of batteries used.There are similar candles that use dual "C" type batteries to operate, and due to higher capacity of those batteries, give the user extended run time. None of those however, from what I've seen, come with the the fully featured remote that provides two different flame modes, four timer modes and a few brightness settings as well.Overall I'm more than pleased with the product and it's great to know that the company offers an outstanding product support that sets a high standard that many others can only wish to match. I'm quite certain that I'll purchase more of those in the future.

I ordered another 4 boxes after I received my very first shipment to give away as holiday gifts, because I absolutely love, love, love these candles. I had simultaneously ordered a more expensive (3.5" x 5) remoteless candle (cost $60 + shipping) from another site the same day I first ordered these. These lovely candles arrived super quickly (Thank You, Prime!), and I received them way before the more expensive one showed up. Once I put the required (AAA) batteries in each candle, the lovely dancing began. I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic the candles looked, especially from a bit of a distance away, and they have a lovely, relaxing glow when lighting up a dark room. These candles are very well made. They even feel real. The best part is the remote and how smart these little guys are. I love that no matter how many sets you have, they will all operate off one remote. And, if you want them to come on at the same time every day/night .. on they go for whatever length of time you pre-set on the remote, then turn themselves off and go back to sleep. And the very, very, very best part of these candles is the price and value. What a wonderful product for the money, as you get three candles (in various sizes). Amazing!! I already emailed the company letting them know that if they create more candle finishes (like rustic) or scents (vanilla), that I'm buying (again)!By the way, the over-priced (one) candle arrived 10 days after I placed the order. What a disappointment. It was a rustic finish. The quality was awful. It left an orange powdery substance/residue on my hands and fingers as I removed it from the poorly wrapped shipment it arrived in. I could foresee this candle staining anything it came in contact with. It also required two D batteries -- that's a lot of battery -- and it made the candle very, heavy. The flame effect was so-so. I had seen rave reviews about this company and product. I wasn't very impressed, since I already tried these marvelous candles. Plus, I got 6 (various sized) candles and 2 remotes for the price of their one awful candle without a remote. It's was a no brainer. I shipped the other one back.
