Great upgrade from Vivoactive 3
After having 2 of them, I was really bummed that I couldn’t find a new Vivoactive 3 to buy so I reluctantly went for a new Vivoactive 4 after reading the mostly positive reviews on Amazon. It’s been about a month and after a short adjustment period I really think the 4 is a nice improvement. The main improvement is the addition of the second button to access the menus to change watch face, clocks, settings, etc. On the 3 this was simply done by swiping the watch face, which often interacted with my jacket or gloves on winter bike rides, which resulted in sometimes crazy changes to my watch settings. No more! I also find the HR measurement is more accurate, and the watch itself feels better made. I have a small wrist and the 4 is a little larger than the 3 but still fits fine. I highly recommend this watch, and if you are a Vivoactive 3 user don’t be afraid of changing to the 4. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent runner's watch.
This is my 3rd Vivoactive from Garmin and this is the most accurate with the longest battery life.

Good fitness tracker
When doing strength training it is not very good at determining which exercise I am doing. It is not bad just not good. I does great on bike rides, walks, and jogs. No issues. I works as described.

A great all around fitness and health tracker
The media could not be loaded. Garmin has made a tracker with more than 3 days of battery life, very accurate on all vitals at a great price. I think the best all around health and fitness tracker for your money.

Meets My Needs & Then Some
This is a replacement for my previous Garmin VivioActive 4 watch. I think I burned or shorted it out bathing dogs. This meets tracking all my important (to me) daily activities. I like how I can check stats for the previous day, week(s) or months with no issues.

Helps with fitness goals
I really enjoy having my new watch to help with reaching my fitness goals. I tend to use the watch just to collect data. In terms of inputs and reviewing results, I normally use the app which I also like.

It works great.
This thing works great. If you do not use the O2 sensor it last days with HR and a few hours of GPS. If you use the O2 only at night you get about 2 + days of HR and a couple hours of GPS running. FYI the battery charges VERY fast. I am very happy with it.

Solid Fitness Tracking Watch
Overall, I am very satisfied with this watch to track my health and fitness. I was concerned about the accuracy of the heart rate from the wrist, but apparently the technology has improved dramatically. I've compared it to your my old chest strap monitor and it's spot-on. The watch is comfortable but I did replace the band and it is much more comfortable. I was disappointed in the battery life. Garmin claims 8 days but there's no way in God's green earth that this thing is getting anywhere near 8 days. My watch required a factory reset because I had a software issue, but after that and reducing all the possible settings I still only get 4 days. As far as the additional warranty goes with this item, it's probably a scam. I can't even get the thing registered. Their website says that my information is not correct. Nobody answers the 1-800 number and they have yet to return my calls after two weeks. I can't even register my item. I can imagine how much worse it be if I actually needed them to get it fixed.
