This is typical of these lower end cameras from a configuration perspective. I do not want to use a mobile app to configure the camera, but luckily you can use wired networking and DHCP. I found the IP address from Zabbix, but you can probably determine the IP from your router. Just go to the IP from a web browser and enter admin for user and 8888 for password. The second thing that is annoying is that they do not publish stream URLs for your security software. Using Firefox web developer tools I was able to determine the viewer app on the camera uses http://yourip/media/?action=stream to get a MJPEG stream. I still need to determine how to get an H.264 stream. To get and HD camera at a good price deserves 5 stars, but Mustcam should provide more technical details for those wishing to use your own software.

The hardware, itself, seems to be very good for the price. However, the management software is very poor - and buggy - and technical support is only available through e-mail. That greatly limits the usefulness of the product. Good luck if you try to configure it for remote surveillance over the internet. Even to select where to record camera activity - which should be as simple as enter the desired path location - is cumbersome; the input field is some times disabled, some times defaults to a pre-determined folder and does not allow it to be changed. I say that with a decent management software this product would be a winner five star. As it is now, three stars seems to be appropriate.

To save you time, use the PC/Windows software to set up the camera. Once I got it running, it has been functioning very well. After PC setup, I downloaded the iOS apps for my iphone and ipad, and was able to connect to the camera without a hitch. I like that it also sends me emails when it detects motion, and the IR function is great. Of course, the WiFi connectivity also means just the power cable to install/clean up. The camera is well-built, and it has an HD option as well. It is way better than some of the other major companies' offerings for a lot less money.

It's a great camera for the price, It was easy to setup with the app and I haven't had any problems since day one, the picture is desent and definitely captures all the features on someone's face.

Work perfectly fine. Better than the D Link ones they replaced...Take forever to get to Northeast US.

The camera is OK, but the information about how to set it up on the computer GUI is very very poor. The company MUST work on it

Nice and easy to configure.

Well all was working great for the first few hours, then I reset the device and I can get to the splash screen and login view settings etc. But just a blank screen. I am a tech guy, running zoneminder API installation and I tried everything, reset device. power on off, power on without LAN, connect via mobile app. FireFox, IE, Chrome, Android etc. NothingFirmware update exists as an option but MustCam has no support forum and no firmware update download sites.No name company no name quality.Won't be buying another MustCam.
