The replacement case is exactly as it is stated. It is sturdy and the engraving on the back of Pikachu is great.Due to this being a replacement Nintendo product you do need specialized tools to swap out the back plate. It's easy enough and there is a fantastic step by step guide on how to replace this on the ifixit website.

This case feels good, it doesn't have any fitment issues and looks pretty cute. Easy- ish to install, but definitely takes some time. Quality is the same as the stock case and it's really nice for making your switch look brand new and give it some subtle personality as well!

This backplate is perfect amd easy to install. It has a legit Nintendo original look, does not look at like ita after market. All the ma4kings and logos are legit. Great quality

This back-plate is the bare minimum of replacements. I'd rather pay a few dollars more for it to include the grill stickers and a sturdier/thinner material. But honestly there aren't many options for an original looking plate on Amazon.KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE SCREWS.. As others mentioned, not all the screw holes line up perfectly, but with a little finessing, it will close with all the screws. The design is awesome and it does the job since the previous owner's kids scratched the heck out of the original back-plate. I don't want to test the theory, but it does appear the plate will crack if dropped.

Very good! Feels like legitimate Nintendo switch backplate and looks it too. Only issue is it does not come with the vents or kickstand, so will have to take from another assuming yor taking off your original. If you use a blow dryer or heat gun on the vents before removing them it will make your life easier and make it look cleaner, also try using a thin razor blade to get under vent to remove.
