Late stage life planning
How can anyone decline an invitation to review this book ! It’s not a typical holiday read, and I suspect you’d get a few odd glances if you read it in public. That of course is not the point. This book is essential reading for terminally ill folk, who have the sense of mind that they don’t wish to burden family as their lives reach a state of deterioration such that the concept of existing purely ‘for the sake of it’ ... no longer attracts. It certainly is not steering you to any course of action, as critics may suggest , and l felt this to be an excellent guide to researching and actioning a mode by which one may choose to ‘check out’ efficiently and painlessly when a terminal illness reaches an advanced state beyond which you have made the presumed fully reasoned decision to draw life to a close. Of course, just touching upon the subject is an ethical/moral minefield, but ignorance and denial of such material is unhelpful too. Hats off to the authors

End of life.
Very heavy book by nature of its content. Thought provoking and enlightening. Not for pro lifers or puritans.

Over complicated manual. Useless.
Unless your understanding of pills and gases is excellent. The ideas are poorly explained. It's like tiny paragraphs each page explaining nothing. Talking law and just leaves you confused. And they say death is easy.

Exceptional book for a misunderstood topic
This book goes into extensive detail regarding numerous ways in which you may wish to end your life. It is a raw fact based book that concentrates on how to’s rather than the why you are contemplating it.With such a difficult and often contentious issue the book delivers advice in methodical and realistic way. Probably contrary to popular belief, ending ones own life in a supposedly civilised society is difficult.I am glad that this book is available and it is your choice whether you buy it or you don’t. I have and I thank the authors for the courage in writing this book.
