The PagePal Page Holder is beautifully made - clearly it is a labor intensive piece and is nicely finished. I'm sure that in creating this item you've fashioned it every way possible to find the best shape but I wondered if making the rounded end that fits in the groove between the pages a little more pointed it might not stay put a little easier? Also, my hands are very small so the hole is way too big and consequently I find myself chasing it around to keep it on. But I persist in using it because I love the way it feels and appreciate the effort you went to in making it.

Really love this. My thumb is probably about a size 8-8.5, and there was a bit of room to spare, as far as fit is concerned. (My husband's hands are larger than mine, and he was able to fit as well.) The wood is very smooth and attractive. But the main feature is really perfect - I can hold open a hardcover book one-handed with ease. I often read in bed, so anything but my Kindle was presenting a problem. I went with this wooden version over plastic because of the many reviews that noted that the plastic was uncomfortable and sometimes damaged the pages. I'd rather pay more for a beautifully crafted and durable item than spend $5 on something that I'd end up returning or would have to replace sooner than later.

I ordered this page holder as a gift for my sister who lost the use of her left arm and hand after suffering a stoke. She is an avid reader and uses this page holder every day. The page holder allows her to hold a book comfortably and keep the book stable in her hand. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

This is a nifty item. I gave one as a gift and it was very well received and used. The one I use a bit awkward; it slips and gets crooked. One has to almost have the thumb side ways. My thumb does not work that way with this item. It's better while reading books flat on the table (while studying or using reference material or just reading at a desk. Maybe the hole has to be angled or something. Great idea, nice looking product. It is expensive. I don't think it really needs to be a high grade wood.

It is a thoughtful gift. I got the largest size for my grandfather and I guess his large thumb still didn’t fit but he appreciated the gesture.

It’s beautiful, and as described... but it just doesn’t work for me. The hole is too large for my thumb, and so using this causes my hand to cramp up. I was so excited about this, and was disappointed that it didn’t really work as I’d hoped...but I can’t entirely blame the product.

Got this for my twin, she’s a book lover and she loved this. It actually works and you’ll notice a huge difference when using it. The material was also really smooth but I recommend getting a size lower if you have thin thumbs.

This is a great product. I am enjoying using it. I originally bought a regular sized holder but it was too small for my knuckle. Instead of trying to return and get a new one I simply passed my original on to a friend that has smaller hands then me. The bigger size is beautiful and works great! Fantastic product and it's definitely a conversation starter. If you're a student or an avid reader definitely get one. It's worth every penny.
