This hammered stainless steel bowl is stylish , very sturdy.I had to replace the glass bowl that came with the Kitchen Aid Mixer because the glass cracked.The stainless steel mixer is a perfect fit and locks into the base.

My husband had originally bought me a ceramic mixing bowl that was pretty but not well made to use. Unfortunately that broke using it on the mixer. So I ordered this one. I couldn’t be happier with it. It can be washed in the dishwasher and the outside design on it looks nice. I like having two mixing bowls especially when making lots of cookies. Actually I like it better then the ceramic one. I would definitely buy this again or for a gift.

Not sure if I ordered the wrong bowl or an error was made in shipping but not a deal breaker. I wound up with the stainless steel “hammered” (dimpled) replacement. Attractive and functions well. Could only give Ease of Cleaning 3 stars because the divots made by hammering the pattern tend to catch dough and batter as the inside surface isn’t smooth

What a beautiful mixing bowl! Looks gorgeous on my countertop.

I got this to replace the glass bowl that came with the mixer. On the original bowl, the glass broke where the ridges on the bottom lock onto the base of the stand, while kneading bread dough. I couldn't believe it. What junk! Not wanting a repeat of that I got this Stainless Steel bowl. I used it for the 1st time last night was pleased with it. BEWARE However, as the mixer works on something heavy like kneading bread dough, it continuously tightens the bottom onto the mixer base plate. You just about need to be Dwayne The Rock to loosen and remove it after you are done. I'm not exaggerating it gets very tight. I'm now thinking that this explains why the glass bowl broke at that spot. It just tightened too much during use.Anyhow, I like this steel bowl, and my big expensive KitchenAid mixer would be useless without it.

Not as beautiful as the glass bowl - which breaks way to easily - but the hammered bowl is nicer looking than the brushed one. Still, expensive for a metal bowl.
