UPF 50+ Men's Rashguard

When I bought this, it wasn't advertised with a UPF rating, and there was no rating listed on the product, but as you can see from the picture, it blocked the sun on my body while my hands got burned. I wore it scuba diving (and on the dive boat), and snorkeling on a recent vacation, and was very pleased.I'm 6'2", 190lbs, and the Large size fit perfectly. It was not form-fitting, but not drapey either. The sleeves covered my wrists, but didn't extend too far.I would definitely recommend.

My husband is INCREDIBLY picky and he really likes this one! High praise coming from him. He's impossible to buy for so if he likes it you know it's good. He actually wore it biking as well and said it stayed cool. I have owned about 15 different rashguard shirts over many years. I find this one to be an example of how a humble $14 shirt can be FAR better than a pro-surfer endorsed $30. rashguard! First-the fabric is much thicker than typical-I was worried about it feeling hot but it seems like some (IceTek* kind of fabric-it REALLY feels cool, I know that sounds like some marketing gimmick, but sun or shade it REALLY feels cooler than bare skin, mesh, or any other fabric I have worn)! I wear them at work under scrubs to reduce possible splash exposures; and outdoors to avoid sunscreen use. This one has nice, heavy weight fabric that will last. A tad bit larger than typical XL rashguards (they are SUPPOSED!!!! to fit snugly people). Swimming/paddling with a floppy shirt is NOT good but I would still order the XL (I am 188cm/100K). If you are between sizes, order one DOWN. As with ANY!!! lycra containing material-AVOID or at least REDUCE! the time in a heated dryer-best to hang dry, if you can't, remove from dryer after 10 mins to prolong the life of ANY lycra.

I bought two of these shirts one for me (a broad shoulder busty woman) and one for my husband for our vacation to Hawaii. These shirts worked splendidly. The XXL fit my husband, who is a solid 6’4”, with a long torso very well. (Shirt didn’t rise up and wasn’t too short).We used them during open water swimming, ocean kayaking, and multiple snorkeling activities. During our weeklong stay the shirts were washed 6 times and suffered no fraying or loose stitches.The shirts are thicker than other rash guards I’ve worn/owned which means they take a bit longer to dry. But I’ve found that works when in colder waters which I’ve tried during December in northern Florida.The shirts are great would recommend.

It is thicker than what you’d expect without being hot. I bought this to go to the beach because I literally burn with 10mins of direct sunlight. This allowed me to avoid putting sunscreen on my torso and arms. It has a slight turtle neck and longer sleeves than expected but I liked both of these features. I will say that even after rinsing and washing it will still retain granules of sand just because of the weave of the fabric. It stretches out when you wear it so when you remove it kinda traps the sand. It didn’t make it uncomfortable it was just annoying putting on after washing to see granules of sand pop up

i have to admit, i was pleasantly surprised by this amazon product. i usually do not think of amazon making clothes, but after being disappointed with the fit of a speedo rash guard (good quality, but sizing is terrible), i decided to give this a try. this rash guard is well made, seems thicker than other rash guards, and fits very well (i.e. not baggy, but not also like a slim fit shirt). I would definitely recommend this.

I purchased this rashguard for a trip to Jamaica after trying some of the name brand offerings. The Amazon rashguard offered a superior fit and performed as I expected while snorkeling and swimming. A minor seam sewing flaw and a slightly heavier (and a bit warmer) than the competition fabric knock off one star. Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat.Sizing information: I'm 6"2" 175 lbs and the large fit just about right.

I've been using this for a solid week straight in the Atlantic surf, and it's great! Saves on sunscreen, fits my middle-aged (and increasingly paunchy) body just fine with long enough arms and torso (I am a medium frame with oddly long arms and torso). It's my first rash guard, so keep that in mind. I wasn't expecting any warmth out of it, and it doesn't offer much, but is comfy enough in the warm Atlantic and out of the water as well (I'm always sweltering no matter what I'm wearing in this hot and humid climate). Buy with confidence.

This vest fits well and is well made however I have been burnt through the material.This is not the only rash-vest I have.I have checked back on the product description and found no mention of UV protection. Buyer beware.

Shirt is lovely, however ordered a size smaller as suggested and unfortunately the shirt that arrived is skin tight.

Good swim top. Longer sleeves to add little extra warmth. Good to keep boogie board rash at bay.

This is quite comfortable.
