I wasn't sure what to expect after reading reviews. But I needed a mat and after reading and also noting the review responses by the company, I made the effort to read and follow the directions that accompanied this which specified how to use it the first time and make sure it sticks to the tub. Some reviews contained reports of problems with it not adhering, and the potential dangers as a result. Look, if you follow the directions that come with this mat, you should not have any problems. The directions worked beautifully.Another problem that some reviews mentioned were incidences of mold. I can see where that could happen but if precautions are taken, mold can be avoided by removing the mat after each use and letting it air dry. Leaving it sitting in place where water sits can produce mold, therefore, I suggest removing it and hanging it over the tub side.Cleaning it is relatively easy. I use a scrub brush (meant for dishes) which gets in and around the suction cups nicely. Works like a charm and keeps it in beautiful condition.What sold me on this mat was the claim that it had a cushion. I wanted a mat that was comfortable for bathing purposes. This exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly SOFT and cushiony. Every time I step on it, I'm reminded of how much I like it. It's comfortable to stand on for showers and very comfy to sit on when bathing. My only complaint, (perhaps suggestion) would be to make it larger. It's relatively small and could be so much better if it were bigger.

I have severe arthritis in my feet and any sort of hard surface (like my tiled shower) is extremely painful for me. Other cushioned bath mats provided no relief, but this bad boy did the trick! In fact, I liked it so much I ordered a second one so nearly the entire surface of my shower floor is covered. Was worried about covering the drain, but it was easy to trim them to make a drain opening without losing any cushion at all. I just pull them up and drape them over my shower bar to dry--easy peasy! Perfect for anyone needing stable traction and unbelievable comfort underfoot!! Highly recommend these mats!

We’ve had this bathmat for a week now. It is very comfortable, and surprisingly it sticks to our bathtub. The bottom of our bathtub is textured and not flat and I had doubts that this mat would stick. I really expected it to float once the top was filled. Surprisingly enough of the little suction cups grab hold that the mat stays down. The little air filled pockets are quite comfortable.

This is the most comfortable bath mat on the market. I air filled pockets are comfortable whether you're sitting or standing. I've had this mat for a few months and I am very pleased. A+++

Unlike other PVC or plastic mats ,this one is so soft that I was careful not to break the air cushion while it stays well after severial days.what a genius idea of the air cushion. and it is easy to dry by sucking on the wall.5 stars definitely

this would work in the tub fine but i had my son cut it in half and silicone the 2 sides together. i lost my arm and leg in an accident and was tired of chasing dishes around my sink! i have tried several mats but this is the only one with enough cushion and rubbery to keep dishes from sliding around as much. i love it for what i wanted to use it for

It's a little smaller then I thought but it's comfortable & secure

I actually bought this mat for my dog to lay on. He loves it. Very comforting to his joints while in his crate.

Doesn't stick down to the bath surface so is a slip hazard. Shame as it perfect for standing on in the shower if you suffer from sore feet due to its air bubble pocket system.

I have a leg deformity and get bad foot, ankle and knee pain at the end of the day. This is the only bath mat I've tried that actually alleviates some of the pain in my evening showers. Unfortaunely, there seems to be a couple small holes in one corner seal that fills the mat with air... it actually tries to float upwards in the bath because of it this. I also wish it was a bit longer to cover more of the tub. I have to move it around depending on if I am bathing or showering.

This is a really nice mat. Very comfortable and overall good quality. I just find it a bit small. It still works, but for the price, I expected it to be bigger.

I love that the product was made of rubberBut the suction just didn't adhere safely to my shower tile.
